The Mill Cafe - Weisdale - Photo album

Well worth a visit if you’re here in Shetland. The lunches in the cafe are great value and freshly prepared - delicious! After lunch take a stroll around the charming gallery of local artist exhibitions. An excellent afternoon spent in a scenically beautiful location 😊
Nice crafts and we came away with a Puffin. Would have used the cafe but dogs aren’t allowed in the cafe and sitting out in the rain wasn’t really an option.
Small, cosy gallery featuring local artists. Nice café downstairs with coffee, cakes, scones, soup, and more. The shop has a good range of nice crafts, not cheap but original. Some beautiful knitwear stuff, plus the obligatory range of puffin themed products 😉
It's an absolutely lovely place! It was a beautiful exhibition and a nice cafe downstairs.
Interesting though small gallery on the upper floor of a converted water mill in remote Weisdale. The ground floor houses a supporting arts and craft shop whilst the lower ground floor is a cafe with conservatory overlooking the burn behind the mill.
Beautiful place, friendly atmosphere, only snack foods and no meals.
Always enjoy coming here. Lovely friendly staff. Delicious lunch consumed in the Bonhoga cafe with a beautiful view!
Lovely items for sale. Great coffee and cake!
This has a cafe, food there is really good. The craftsmanship of the work in the gallery is of a good to high standard. All in all, it is well worth visiting. There is a 2nd bookshop nearby, which is also worth visiting. I could have spent hours in there.
Interesting crafts and a great little cafe.
The cafe is amazing. Simple but great food and delicious cakes and cream teas. It's best to book a table in advance as it's popular at lunch time. You can book online or over the phone. The gallery displays work of wonderful local artists and most of it you can buy.
Wonderful little gallery. Missed the cafe but a good reason to go back.
Small but well worth a visit. Lovely gift shop staff managed to squeeze us in for the free exhibition upstairs which was a very sweet video made by a local artist. The gift shop has some nice bits in it, and the café downstairs does a wonderful soup and even better local cakes. Parking is a little r
Very glad to visit this warm and friendly café/gallery in a converted old mill, especially when there were 50mph winds outside! Good coffee from a cafetiere and tasty cakes. Nice views from the conservatory overlooking a winding brook with a church in the distance. Gift shop had lots of interesting
Love the cafe, excellent food and nice cakes. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. And the atmosphere seems to have an unnatural calming effect on my kids, who usually can't sit still in a cafe for longer than it takes them to drink their juice. So whatever 'special ingredients' they put i
This venue usually shows interesting art work in a light and airy space. The café downstairs serves hot drinks, cakes and light meals which are freshly prepared with lovely views to enjoy and you relax. Nicely stocked shop adds to the experience.
Great wee art/craft gallery in a converted mill. Showcases local talent as well as other notable artists. Nice café (great coffee!) With indoor and outdoor seating, plus a gift shop, all in a beautiful location.
Always such a friendly place to visit. The humble cafe serves tasty and simply pleasing food in a relaxing environment beside a babbling burn. The shop has a wide array of gifts and artwork on offer. The gallery upstairs is well presented. A fine place to visit with kids too as they have kids option
