We didn’t stay in a room so can’t comment.
We popped in for lunch on 28/19/23. Our server was Morgan who was helpful and able to go through the menu choices and made recommendations in relation to the menu.
The food is excellent and reasonably priced.
We stayed here for two nights and had both breakfast and dinner. The food was tasty, well presented and we were attended to by lovely staff. I don't think there was anything that could have been improved on. The menu was varied, but perhaps a couple of specials each evening, if we were staying longe
We had a meal for seven. Good choices of food. All were satisfied with their choices. Food tasty and well presented. Service was excellent served by Kate. I would recommend the King’s Head Saturday lunch.
Lovely experience at the Kings Head. Ample parking, spacious rooms that were clean and the food was delicious. The cost of staying was very affordable versus other options and is a big plus as this doesn't compromise on the quality of service or the overall experience. I'd be staying again if I find

Food was beautiful, quantity was perfect and very tasty
Highly recommended for any event or occasion as well as a lite bite/ brunch or evening meal

Fabulous location and couldn’t fault the food or the service. The Gammon was beautiful and the wife had the fish cakes. Both really really nice and filling. Ellie our server was very helpful and polite.
Had a great stay at The King's Head! the staff were lovely and really helpful! The food was nice, we had pizza and garlic bread! and had breakfast in the morning. The room was clean, well decorated and had a large bed. free parking. Really enjoyed our stay!
Very nice and comfortable pub. There are a number of semi separate rooms that gives you a cosy feel like sitting on the sofa in your own lounge watching at fireplace.
We had the family room and had a nice stay, our meal and breakfast was lovely. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Curtains would benefit with additional blackout around the edges/ tuck in from the front light.
I had dinner in this pub last week. Sadly we arrived quite late but the staff was happy to serve us food so they saved our evening. Service was really good and the food quality was very good too.

Lovely pub with excellent friendly staff. Ellie, Connor and Jedrzej in particular are so helpful. Extra bonus that it’s very dog friendly 🐾. . Good selection of food that’s all to a great standard.
Always have found the bar and restaurant staff approachable and happy to see you.

Jenna provided great table service, really attentive and friendly and our meals came out swiftly and were enjoyed by all. Thank you Jenna. The bottle of birthday bubbly from the app offer was much appreciated :-)
Excellent visit to the pub and dining area.
Food very nice and couldn’t fault the service.
However, stayed over and although the room was acceptable for price, found the bed very hard and this resulted in a poor nights sleep.
External doors to bedrooms do not give a good first impression, bit batter
Orshy and Alex looked after us beautifully, from the lovely welcome and seamless check in on arrival, polite and efficient food service in the evening and breakfast the next morning. The food was beautifully prepared, presented and served.
The only 'complaint' I had and it's a personal preference w
waiters and bar staff were extremely kind and helpful. We were satisfied with the cleanliness of the rooms and the delicious food.
We only ate here, but it was wonderful. We each got a huge, cozy lunch for 15 £ in a very clean, atmospheric environment. Wonderful staff, very helpful. Stop by!
