If you're looking for some authentic Cuban food, you don't have to look too far from Brass. A delightful experience that anyone would enjoy
Atmosphere
The place is really nicely designed with lots of areas in each section to have the ability to converse without shouting over other people. We visited at lunch time where it was fairly quiet
Service
The service was impeccable, the wait staff were kind and helpful to our questions as we had a few people with different dietary needs. They were also quite quick with bringing out the various different dishes ordered as well as drinks
Food
I have never seen some of the items displayed in such a way where it made the food more tantalising. The taste matched the looks if not outdid them and with the range of dishes available, there is something for everyone regardless of diet or needs
Food was amazing!! we had the lamb skewers and beef ribs, all I can say is food coma afterwards.
Bursting with flavour and presentation was top notch.
Drinks were eye-catching and tasted great.
Portion sizes, make sure you are hungry as they are very filling!!!

Greeted by a friendly host, lovely relaxed but smart environment, could choose our own table.
Excellent choice of wine, cocktails and some beers. We had two different cocktails, one of them frozen and both were very good. Food choices were great, something to suit everyone as well as special menu options. I had the braised beef rib burger and two friends had the rack of ribs. Huge portions and great quality, chips were particularly good.
Food and drinks arrived promptly and quality was excellent. Appears to be family run restaurant where people ask how the food was Etc. Would definitely go back here
Been itching to try this place and finally got here! Sister restaurant to the tapas bar around the corner which is excellent so was interested to see how this restaurant was different. I did notice the special where tapas dishes like paella and draft Estrella lager.
Firstly we had some delicious spicy wings to start and some ox tail spring rolls which were ok.
Both went for the skewers, caramelised steak and the squid and chorizo. Steak was ok with a nice flavour, chorizo good and squid a bit chewy but ok. Nice greens sides wuth tornado potatoes which is basically crisps
Staff polite and friendly.
Not much atmosphere as restaurant as only had 7 people in there on a Friday night but at least we could have a conversation at the table.
Will definitely revisit to try the beef rib burger !
Parking outside.
Lovely staff and the food was too good. Had the fish of the day. Salmon was cooked perfectly leaving it moist and bouncy. The chorizo stew gave it a nice kick.
Loved the Calamari rings. Definitely recommend it. Looking forward to trying the rest of the delicious sounding menu. Good price for good food cooked perfectly. 👌🏽
Amazing experience. Top notch food, atmosphere, and wait staff. Have been here multiple times, and every time is perplexing experience all around. I always take my mates here, as the food is always superb. Surely a lifetime customer
Came by this place by chance, was in the area and fancied some lunch. The waiter was very nice, very friendly, food was very good, it tasted like it was made fresh and not microwave stuff, price for each food item was very reasonable, good portions were served, we were the only ones in the restaurant but weather wasn’t the best but I can imagine in the evening the vibe will be great there. Definitely recommend it. Not sure of their cocktails though as it was so cold we had warm drinks lol but the menu looked good. Toilets were also clean.
Fantastic place - highly recommend. Delicious food beautifully served. Great attention to detail on the plate. First time dining here (a group of 8). All food was served at the same time with no issues. We had a wide selection of the dishes between all of us and everything was great. Waiter was helpful but sounded confused a lot of the time when asked about allergens. Only 1h parking outside the restaurant until 7pm but can park in Nags Head car park which is a short walk away.
I decided to try a new restaurant for my birthday yesterday and I'm so glad I did! The food was so yummy and fresh. The staff were very attentive and friendly. I particularly enjoyed the Gyoza and the cucumber martinis! I will definitely be back soon.
Very quiet when we booked for Sunday lunchtime but the food was great and to be honest it was probably quite due to the cost. Can't imagine many people paying as much for lunch as you'd normally pay for dinner.
