Decent price, reasonable portion, the thing that's unusual is no bread or toast in the set breakfast price. Talked into Mem's Special, hidden at the bottom of the menu board, didn't look at it so it arrived third a plate of baked beans, I hate beans with a fry up, so I ate them first and mopped up the sauce with my napkin. My bad, read the menu properly is my advice. The tea is pretty good though.
First time visit, tastey food, generous portions and quick service. Will definitely be returning.

Greeted on arrival set the place off to a good start. First impression reinforced by getting served with proper bread, none of this wafer thin nonsense. Mushrooms and egg clean and Not laden with slime and grease. Reasonable priced only drawback was could of been more filling, (of course I could have added extra bits, but you don't know how filling the foods going to be until it arrives). Would I come back?

I am very impressed how clean this place is, when You enter you cannot feel any bad smell from the kitchen like in other places, a lot of space, nice and friendly place with excellent customer service! My food was very fresh and delicious, very good quality for that money! Ofcourse for those who complain about rules in this place... just try to run your own business when someone sit with tea only and not let other to try this lovely place!

Came in feeling peckish and left full....
I stopped here as I was early for an appointment locally, I opted for omelette, chips and beans and wasn't disappointed.
It was a generous portion all washed down with a mug of tea.
I was very pleased with the price and would recommend this place.
The staff were all friendly and made you feel welcome.

It's always a real pleasure to visit F&D for a brekker or lunch. Generous portions of excellent food served in comfortable surroundings by friendly staff who really do 'get to know' and appreciate their regulars. The chicken curry is a favourite of mine!! Thanks to you all!!!

Great little place, nice breakfast and reasonably priced, after buying one coffee I was asked by owner if I wanted a refill on the house! Very nice service!!! Should have bought extra chips!!
Huge egg and bacon sandwich for my son, the usual for me (egg, bacon, chips, fried slice and 2 bread & butter). Yum!
Just had lovely Brunch in this cafe. Very clean, well cooked food and reasonably priced. Will be going back again without a doubt.
Tasty cafe lunch and good prices. What's not to like! Only issue is they don't take debit cards.
