I ate at the Saffron with my Wife a couple of weeks ago, the food, drinks and service were fantastic. I also organised a mangers meeting for our company which involved 43 members of staff meeting up for drinks a a curry, based on our experience we booked the Saffron where everyone enjoyed the whole evening laid on by the wonderful staff, we had a mixture of Indian starters and mains and one English dish of chicken, chips, mushrooms and peas. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, I would recommend the Saffron to all, it is some of the finest India food I have tasted. 10/10
A far cry from the Akash down the road, the staff friendly, the service swift and the specials menu amazing. I tried a dish I had never had before, I forget the actual name, but it was a highly flavoured chicken dish served with chunky onions and peppers. I was advised to have it hot rather than medium and it was delicious. The garlic nan bread was the best I have ever had, really light and fluffy. All in all a great experience and will be going back.
We've only had a takeaway from the Saffron so far but both times the food has been very good. Would certainly be on our list of local Indian restaurants to try in our area.

Haven't been there for a few years but thought I would nip in as I was on my way home from the in-laws and yet again they didn't let my taste buds down!! π top notch!!
Excellent food arrived 15 mins quicker than time was given and could not fault it best restaurant in town.
