Very nicely prepared seafood with great flavour pairings. The four course meal was a bit heavy both in terms of size and flavoring for our tastes. Staff was very friendly and professional.

Excellent food. Had the tasting menu, was delicious. Also the wine pairing was good. But taking a bootle would have been cheaper. Anyway, depends what you want. The different courses were delicious. Very friendly stuff.

Absolutely amazing. Heart-warming service, delicious food. The 4-course menu is definitely enough for one female. Among the dishes we had, the trevally tartare and snapper were the most lovely.

This is fine dining at its best. With a great location, amazing ambience, friendly service and outstanding food, Whitebait is definitely in the top five restaurants in Wellington in my opinion. The menu is simple but the actual food has complex layers and cleverly put together. The flavours are clean and distinct and very satisfying. Immensely enjoyed our evening and would strongly recommend this restaurant.

Great food and extremely friendly and helpful staff. They helped us pick food and wine, but weren't pushing for us to over order or get more expensive items. They really helped us take our time and make the evening special.

"The best Waterfront Restaurant in Wellington, New Zealand" True! Seafood (I recommend Orongo Bay Oysters, Russell, North Island NZ), fish or meat, all is good... Nice atmosphere and decorations, good welcoming, nice view ... great 👍🏻 The team is perfect 👌🏻. It's always a pleasure to eat here .
