My friend and I arrived for lunch today with a window table available. Promptly was asked if we required drinks and ordered a wine and tea. The Chicken Korma was the star! Rich warm curry and moist tender chicken. Great service, great atmosphere and star performing Chicken Korma - I will be back for more!

Had an amazing time here my partner and I were told this was the best indian food in town and they were right! Delicious food, great service, awesome decor, warm atmosphere and all around a great experience!!! This is our second time coming to masala and definitely won’t be our last. 100% recommend the mushroom tandoori and special naan entrees!

My favourite restaurant in Welly, hands down!
this place has the best Indian cuisine I've had since staying with my 'auntie' from Chennai. My partner and I have date night here once a month and haven't even made a dent into the full menu yet, but everything we've had is divine. the serving sizes appear small at first, but halfway through your meal you'll realize that they're huge - we usually end up bringing some home.
the crockery is really cute and authentic, and the serving dish will match the food style. the owner is a jolly man who loves a bit of friendly banter, and his daughters that work as servers are great.
seriously, I can't recommend this place enough. the food, drinks, and decor are all top class.

Visited with my mum a few days ago and had an amazing experience. The man that served us was so kind and accommodating and our food was delicious. Best food we had while visiting in wellington.

Loved eating at Masala a couple of times during my visit to NZ recently.
The chef certainly knows his flavours and the owner Monty was always inviting and friendly.
Loved the loaded poppadums as an entrepreneur with a Kingfisher. Miss it already.
