Really enjoyable experience. The owners are so lovely. Food was amazing but took a wee while to arrive. Definitely recommend but make sure you have some time to chill.

Hands down the best cafe in the North island. I've been going here for over a year now and can't and wouldn't flaw it on ANYTHING. The staff are absolutely lovely, beautiful light nature atmosphere but the best part is the great coffee and food, I'll go out of my way to go here to experience them and am happy to pay every penny. Delightful little cafe with small but tasty selection of food options. We only had coffee here but would love to come back to try their lunch specials sometime. Located near a couple of fantastic antique stores in Tinakori Antiques and Elizabeth Wilkin Antiques so for those who love antiques, Leafee Cafe would make an ideal pit stop or a lunch venue.

My favourite cafe in Wellington.
Their coffees are always on point. Coffee beans are by Peoples Coffee.
We enjoy their dishes and excited to try their specials.
There are 4 tables and 3 seat counter.
On weekends, they are constantly very busy. Most of the time only one on the floor and one in kitchen.
Your patience is much appreciated there.

Two coffees (one decaf), tofu pancakes and a salmon bagel. All delicious! Quaint, little cafe (seats about ten). We got a table easily at 8.30 am on Sunday. Highly recommend!

Everything on the menu is delicious and if you just wanna grab something yum for heading out the butter rolls are fantastic

I've only tried the tofu pancake but I am addicted to it. My current favourite Welly meal. The combination of flavours and textures gives this dish an edge. Low key vibe and a little small for now but that only adds to the appeal for me. If you want an out of the way place close to town, I recommend.

Second time visiting this place and can’t definitely say it’s, if not the best, one of the best cafes in wellington. I got a green tea ginger latte which was perfect for todays cold weather and probably the best green tea latte I’ve had. Tofu pancakes also so good. The pancakes itself was made from tofu and coated in sesame seeds to give it a nice crunch, topped with lots of salad that complimented it so nicely. I personally just loved the texture of these pancakes. The mushroom walnut udon was again so refreshing. Also picked up some of their baking from the cabinet and am excited to try those.

I had a wonderful breakfast yesterday morning. Delicious tofu pan cake with a special spicy hot chocolate. Yummy yummy!

Leafee is so, so good - cosy, friendly, beautiful decor, a menu offering both classic breakfast options executed perfectly and Japanese-influenced dishes, plus housemade pastries, slices and breads in the cabinet. Everything is delicious. Truly wonderful.
