Heaven Woodfire Pizza

Me and my friend were craving some Italian food so we came to Santeria. My friend ordered the mushroom risotto and I ordered the smoked chicken and mushroom fettuccini. Her mushroom risotto was soft, creamy and flavourful. Mine however was good, but lacked quite a bit flavour. My only feedback is that the smoked chicken and mushroom fettuccini lacked quite a bit of salt and pepper, it was really bland. Both were good, but my friends dish was definitely my favourite dish tonight :)

Nice space, with charming staff. Delicious thin crust pizzas - be warned they are large, so if getting sides I'd suggest sharing with friends; but they are very moreish so it's quite possible to munch your way through one entirely on your own 😄 I enjoyed seafood pizza and my companion loved her 'works' pizza. Polenta fries are an interesting change from the standard potato fries. Spent ~$90 for 2 including drinks

The best gluten free and vegan cheese pizzas that we have ever had! The drinks were a great compliment to the entire menu! We could not get over how delicious the food was! If you're looking for a pizza night then you can go past here! Great atmosphere inside with a nice outdoor area with 2 large outdoor heaters to keep you warm in the cold

Easter Good Friday 2023 Still wonderful! Original Review November 2023, We headed up Cuba St, not really knowing what we wanted to eat, too many great venues to choose from. Having eaten a lot of Asian meals recently, I knew I didn't want anything too spicy & actually was craving a pasta. So Santeria Pizza & Pasta it was. Not being from Wellington, seeing a place busy on a Tuesday night is generally a good sign that the food must be good. Well, it was more than good, it was fast to the table & delicious. Those around us seemed to thoroughly enjoy their experience, too, which was lovely to see. Every box ticked here! Had great experience here. Busy as tonight, 2 for 1 pizza on Tuesdays and 2 for 1 pasta dishes on Wednesdays. Staff were onto it and friendly. Delicious pizza and the polenta chips were worth a try. Yummy! Warm friendly cosy vibe. Our server (dude with a beard, sorry didnt catch your name!) was very personable and made us feel most welcome and at ease. Will be going back.
