Simply said—this is the best place around. It is known as a destination for great coffee in an over-caffeinated capital.
I've yet to have anything less than a perfectly made coffee at Machete; an act that is truly appreciated because the coffee itself is incredible. On top of their wonderful beverages, their service is fantastic. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help.

Nice place for a quiet chat over hot chocolate. My hot chocolate was deliciously spiced. Pleasantly surprised about that. The Cheese Scone though was not bad but not fragrant enough.

Oh wow!! This place did not disappoint 😊. Heard about it a couple of years back but didn't get chance to try before I moved out of working in the CBD, and then covid hit. Atmosphere buzzing, service first class and the food ❤️❤️❤️. Tasty, filling and fresh. Strawberry Shrubs were also on point. Will be back very soon 👍👍. Thanks team 🙏
