One of the few cafes in the area, the food taste fine and the outside area is great on a nice sunny day, but the price is on average 25% higher than any other cafes I've been to, including CBD cafes, and it made it hard to rate this place higher as the size and the taste of the food didn't reflect the higher price 😞

Chanced upon this place as it was near our Airbnb at the Glenside estate.
Had the OMG! ($29,breakfast platter) and breakfast bite ($7) and they are as good as they get. Great spot for a meal in a relatively quiet neighbourhood.

We had breakfast today at Simmer Cafe. The best hot chocolate I ever had. Pulled pork burger, chicken panini and eggs Benedict smoked salmon are all delicious. The ambiance is very relaxing, a nice place to catch up and have a chat with friends. It’s great to have a cafe in the suburb so you don’t have to worry about parking. The food quality here is better than in the CBD anyway. The service is outstanding, it really shows that they love what they’re doing. It’s only my 3rd time here but will be back for sure.

My regular cafe that I have been going to for years! They know my order when I walk through the door and are super friendly. Yummy food too! We certainly are lucky in Churton Park to have this awesome cafe!

Fabulous brunch visit - our drinks and food were all delivered very quickly, even during a busy Saturday brunch service. Fabulous French toast! Would love to see some sun umbrellas outside as it gets roasting hot under the verandah.

Food and coffee is great and the cinnamon buns are my favourite. Downfall is that I find the staff aren’t the friendliest or well mannered, the guy that’s normally at the front counter doesn’t usually ever bother to say a word to me when I go up to order. I also find that the service is quite slow especially waiting for just a takeaway coffee.

Wide enjoyable selection of menu and cabinet food. The fish and salad was lovely. Coffee really nice. Just needs cream/yoghurt offered with passionfruit and lime tart. It was very cold sitting inside with cafe doors open sadly, despite merino layers.
