I absolutely love this wee gem of a place. The staff alone make you want to come back again and again. Amazing cheap eats at the end of Lambton Quay perfect for a lunch during work with gorgeous sandwiches, hot counter and my favourite the soup of the day! Seats to sit in or takeaway. All served with a smile :)

This is a nice little Cafe and the food is fairly well priced too. Nice pies & only $3.50 each.

Got a steak & mushroom pie today, nice pie but the steak was rather tough and chewy so I've dropped it down a Star.

Like everywhere else the prices have gone up... when will it stop? Soon we won't be able to afford anything.

I love this traditional lunch bar. Good simple food always fresh and wholesome. The staff welcome you as if you're family. Exceptional business where if they run out of your favourite you will see them go out back to the kitchen and make it fresh. How many eateries do that nowadays?
