This place gives me memories of home! Lots of authentic Singaporean food and drink on offer. I tried the fishball noodles (dry version) and a teh c (milk tea).
While my noodles were tasty I just wish there were more homemade elements in the dish (e.g. noodles, fishball). Tea wasn’t as strong as I expected, based on the similar brewing style used at home. Seemed to be understaffed too - one person running around handling orders, food and drink prep. That said, I would be willing to revisit to try different dishes in the future.

Amazing laksa, probably one of the most affordable around. Heavy spicy, feel free to ask how hot would you like it. Worth visiting also if you after different tastes of coffee. Overall pleasing experience with thay place.
Just be aware about spicy ;)

Great little Singaporean cafe. Recently opened, serving authentic Singaporean food focusing on lunch and breakfast.
The venue is small catering for only a few tables and takeaway is the norm. Had the infamous curry laksa with prawns and tofu, which was very flavourful and tasty. Not too spicy but enough to give it a small kick. Unique to this laksa is that you don't need chopsticks and are encouraged to just use a spoon and "slurp" the noodles (the noodles have been cut to bite size). Is a bit on the small size so suggest you add a bun to your meal.
Good value and will definitely be coming back to try more dishes.

13/10 delicious and fun time. Get yourself there and get a laksa and a coffee. You won’t regret it.

A small cozy outlet. Enjoyed the nasi lemak. The rice was light & the sambal was spicy & delicious (though I don't mind a little more sambal) . The toast-egg-coffee set was delicious too. Well definitely return to try out the Singapore laksa & fish ball nnoodles. Kudus Kopi Tiam. Keep up the standard. Staffs & owners were welcoming & friendly.

Good kopi and Kaya toast. So happy that finally a place you can get Singapore style breakfast in Welly. Good price too. Laska is a bit spicy and portion bit a bit small. They don't serve the laska with chopsticks as the noodles are all cut, but the noodles are a bit overcooked. A good place to get snacks and drinks.

Kopitiam means "coffee shop" in Hokkien, a traditional Chinese dialect in Singapore. This shop is unrelated to one with a similar name in Newtown. But do not assume this is just another coffee shop. What makes this place different and special is the coffee is NOT your usual arabica roasted espresso (which I am unashamedly an addict of) but it's made from coffee which has been roasted Asian style and imported. So people here who miss the Asian style coffee will enjoy the memories Kopitiam's coffee will bring, whilst the adventurous amongst us who would like a taste of what a coffee tastes like in a traditional Malaysian/Singaporean coffee shop could do worse than come here. Suggest you first try the basic "Kopi" which is coffee with a touch of condensed milk. Or try the Kopi/Kaya toast/Eggs combo where the soft boiled eggs are cooked just perfect, and you crack them into a little bowl, to be eaten with a dash of soya sauce and pepper to taste. If you're hungry, give the laksa a go, it's Singaporean style, be prepared for something a bit different! There are other lunch options too but you can also just drop in for a quick cuppa, as I do. Staff are good, and the owner who is there at times, has a warm friendly personality bigger than the shop, which is modest in size, so seating is limited at peak times especially around noon. Seating is tight but there's a warm ambience. If you haven't tried real Asian coffee, give this a go, it's different and you might like it! It's brewed, so don't expect an espresso.

Traditional Singaporean/Malaysian food and drink offerings as advertised. Rich bodied laksa was great with noodles cut into smaller sizes, just like back home. The nasi lemak sambal was spot on. Otak Otak was too floury though. Milo dinosaur was exactly how you'd have it. Not many seating options but a nice chill atmosphere.
