Lovely food at great prices but only complaint was it took just over 30 minutes when they were not extremely busy. Very friendly just frustrating om the wait.

Not usually a reviewer but this place deserves it! I've been going for over 10 years and even though I long since moved away from Newtown I still won't get fish and chips anywhere else. The loveliest lady behind the counter who always remembers my order even though sometimes it's been years since my last visit. Always perfectly crispy fresh fish, and huge fillets!

I love the fried hot dogs, the service is also lovely, a timid woman who takes her time making the food, it never turns out greasy or oversalted. Just perfect. I love Rainbow Fish And Chips! Super cheap and affordable too!

Upon entering the shop I was greeted by a nice old man, the vibe of the store was very cozy. Fish is amazing and great priced although the batter was a little too salty and it was quite greasy. 9/10.

This fish shop does good selection of Chinese meals for $12.50.
Crumbed fish for $4.10 and it's warehou fish which is meaty and has taste to it.
Not like the terrible fish n chip shop in the suburb of Northland.
Very hard to find good priced and good quality fish shop in Wellington City. They all seem to want to rip you off.
This fish shop is now on my "preferred" list.
Go here if you can't be bothered cooking and you want a reasonable priced feed.
