Delicious comfort food, very clean establishment, good prices and attentive staff. I had the Haddock with fries and coleslaw, the batter was thin and crispy, good portions and tasty. The coconut cream pie is made by a 92 year old local and it was extremely good, highly recommend. Retro decor and a familiar welcoming ambiance complement this place.

Food was ok. Nothing to write home about but was fine. We had the pizza. It was served hot and fresh. The reason I am giving 1 star is because of the very cranky older lady with glasses who works there or God forbid owns it...not sure and I don't care. Customer service is highly important when people are spending hard earned money at your establishment and when the people you are serving are being friendly as well. I will not stop there again. A word of advice...Cheer up...it goes a long way.

Saturday of the May long weekend, they were open before noon. While the dining room was closed (due to lockdown rules) the burgers were excellent and reasonably priced. The service was just as friendly and welcoming as last summer and the milkshake was amazing!

My friend and I stopped here during a day trip to the County. The fish and chips are the best I’ve had outside of England. The fries were the perfect crispness and so tasty, the fish was excellent. I’m now craving it!

I am happen to live in Wellington and have been enjoying the cooking from this family owned restaurant for many years.
Very welcome and accommodating to everyone who chooses to enter their doors. Two reviews below me is a shocking rating of a #1. I would like to say that behind every decision is a reason, perhaps the Customers could have asked why moving the table wasn't an option?
Everyone is open to their opinion, however, I strongly encourage you to come to your own :)

Good food but bad customer service. Cranky woman who seated us told us we should have called ahead. We were just driving by, leaving town from pumpkinfest so we would have expected more of a welcome especially when it wasn't even busy ! I have never ever been spoken too in a place of business like that!
