What a great place for gluten free fish and chips! Had some concerns whether the batter for the fish was dairy free and my messages on Facebook answered quickly with the confirmation it is totally gluten and dairy free. Staff friendly and helpful, everything cooked fresh, and food tasted great. Other gluten free products available but haven't tried them - yet! I'm told by my better half that the regular fish and chips also excellent.

I have visited Smithfields multiple times and each time they have delivered exceptional quality food. I would recommend for the food alone, but what adds to the experience is the service, good pricing and overall atmosphere of the shop. The online preorder is extremely useful, and you can use this to prevent queuing.
You can tell that the staff care about their customers, and just the fact that I've never seen it quiet says something about the level of quality you get from Smithfields.
One hundred percent my go-to takeaway in Telford.

Staying in Wellington over the weekend and tried the chippy from reading the reviews. I was greeted warmly as soon as I entered, friendly staff and great tasting, well cooked food, will definitely use again when in Wellington.

Gorgeous staff and delicious fish! Not overly greasy like a lot of chippys and my stomach is always happy after my meal. The staff are fabulous with children here and we love going as a family. With our GF child as well who also loves it. Highly recommend. The only thing that could make it better would be the seaside.

Really nice quality food, especially the Gluten Free fish cooked in rice flour. You order ahead and they bring it out to the carpark, alternatively you can go in an order and they bring it out to the car. Excellent service to go with really goid food.

I must take the time to say how impressed I was with this restaurant in Wellington. We had a large ish party and some people needed fast orders to get away. My food was excellent, as were the other dishes ordered by the group. Superb fish, delicious chips, no complaint when we asked for ice tap water. We also enjoyed very attentive service. The trainee girl was helpful and patient, the manager fully appreciative of some dietary requirements. We'll done Smithfield's! Go there people - you'd be hard pushed to find better food and better staff.
