Vonderling Wine Farm

We visited Vondeling for a white wine tasting and we were not disappointed!! The selection of wines was incredible, I would highly recommend the Babiana. We were also treated to a gourmet lunch which had quite the backdrop with the church and rolling hills of vines. The staff were hugely accommodating, providing great insight on the wine and even a tour of the nearby wine-making facilities. Overall, I would highly recommend anyone visiting Cape Town or the nearby area to visit, you won’t regret it!!

Vondeling is an incredible place with such a variety of delicious wines. The tasting is an amazing, immersive experience with great wines and delicious food. The information provide about each wine is very informative and I could not recommend the experience enough. A must do if near Paarl or staying in Capetown!!

Take a journey away from the masses and visit Vondeling. The tasting room is open standard hours even though there are some stretches without any visitors during the slower, cooler months. Nine wines are offered in two tasting tiers (7 + 2). There are five additional, high-end wines available for purchase sans tasting. You can stretch out with your wine inside or out. Don't miss the huge bunches of wild calla lilies on the road in.

I had the most amazing wedding at Vondeling wine estate - we stayed at the manor house the night before. The house was very comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen. Breakfast was provided for us on the morning of the wedding and was absolutely delicious - and there was a lot of it. The venue is exquisite- perfect for a winter wedding. Mariaan and Rikki were phenomenal throughout the planning process and even managed to save the day the evening before by conquering a logistical error that was completely my fault. The staff assisted with the set up and were gracious in answering all my queries and fusses. I had a perfect day and Vondeling played a big part in the days success.
