The best Indian takeaway. Food is so tasty (I highly recommend the Kadhai Chicken) ... whenever I have other Indian food around Wellington I'm always comparing it to Tandoori Nights, and almost always TN comes out on top for taste & cost

great food, quickly served, friendly staff. What more could you ask for? In my 13 years of being in ngaio, these guys have been my favourite Indian takeaways place since forever, and I have tried other Indian takeaway spots as well.

After looking for a new dealer after Tolsi closed in Jville, we have found a replacement. Great service and comunications and very good food.

Solid local curry shop, open until around 9, usually you can drop in around then (if you're annoying).
Solid vege and vegan options, a garlic naan that's garlicky, but not too garlicy. Proper tandoor roasted meats and breads, quick and easy service.
Perfect for a lazy night.

We ate takeaway from here the other night and it was absolutely delicious. We had a Biryani and Jal-freezi and, as someone who has eaten at a lot of different Indian restaurants over the years, this was one of the best. Would highly recommend, and will absolutely be going there again!

Tandoori nights is the real taste of the tandoor! Such great authentic taste and affordable. The dhal has a wonderful flavour with lots of red chili which makes on fire! Great for vegetarians.

Best Indian food in the region. Generous portions cooked to what you ask. One of the only places I've encountered in wellington that does a proper hot dish. Worth a detour to try in my opinion.
