This is a great little bar that hosts a fun language exchange event on Thursdays. The music is a bit loud for people to speak a language they're still learning but the staff are kind and helpful. Drinks are well priced and they have a variety of options. Definitely recommend checking it out on a Thursday when everything else is quiet.

We’ve always loved El Barrio and first came when the current 2IC (Kate) started and told us how cool it was. Came again tonight (28.11.23) and was served by Freya who was amazing at her job and was helping us chose what to eat. My partner ordered the Pork Adobo Tacos, and it’s important to note that he is also a chef and a very harsh food critic. That being said, he gave the food a 10/10 (unheard of!), and Freya gave us the opportunity to thank the chef, (Arlo?) himself. I got the Nopales Tacos which were also good. We also had a few drinks due to the $13 cocktail special, my partner getting a Passionfruit Caprioska and me getting a rosé, both also delicious.
TLDR, the staff (especially Kate and Freya) are amazing, the food is amazing, and the drinks are great too. Definitely recommend. Will be back!

Didn't get a chance to try the food but the staff are friendly and welcoming and down for a chat, the venue itself can be intimate and family friendly during the afternoon; I expect it becomes a riot in the evening when the kids have gone to bed 👌

Cocktails and mocktails were great and the food tasted amazing too. Portions were a bit small for the price but still really good deals. Toilets were tiny.

Our experience was amazing here. We enjoyed everything about El Barrio's. The kids felt like they were in enchanto. The service was second to none, and so was the food and drinks 🙌 would recommend this place to everyone.
