Goodfellows At 7b Restaurant, Wells - Wells - Photo album

Goodfellows, run by chef/patron Adam Fellows, is a nice cosy restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. But it's the cuisine which is outstanding and quite honestly superb. My husband and I thought our meal as a whole was one of the best we've enjoyed out for an age! Highly recommended.
Absolutely stunned by this visit. The food was top notch and service very quick, even on a busy bank holiday lunchtime. £29 for a 3 course meal with such superb quality in a gorgeous, clean, modern restaurant - I cannot praise Goodfellows highly enough 🌟
Excellent dishes. I really enjoyed the dinner. Highly recommend.
Eccellent food, friendly service.
I was extremely impressed with this restaurant. We could see the two chef's preparing the meal as the kitchen is open for all to see. Truly excellent fresh fish dishes created by two very skilled chefs. Starters and main courses were the best I have had for many years. The presentation was also ex
Four of us enjoyed very good food, celebrating an anniversary in late May. Unhurried, precise service and food presented professionally; but the highlight was the flavour and texture of each dish. Even my friend who looked at his menu card and exclaimed that there was little he liked on the menu
If I could give Goodfellows more stars I would. The food was so good and nicely presented. My husband and I both had 3 course each all different choices and they were all excellent. The best meal we have had since coming back to the UK from living in France.
The staff were very friendly and were Covid friendly. The restaurant felt very Covid safe yet welcoming. The standard of the food was excellent, in fact I’d go as far as to say 2nd to none. Simply exquisite, the presentation, flavours, tastes, textures were fantastic and the prices were exceptional.
Excellent place to eat. Looks small and understated but seats went into the back within the kitchen area. We could see food prep as it happened. Starter was crab salad-absolutely delicious and presentation 10/10. I had a duck for starters which was faultless, and the best duck I've ever had. Dessert
Wow best restaurant that I`ve been to in a long time. Brilliantly cooked meal & made me feel like I was on holiday in France. So good, we`ve booked another meal here during our stay!
An impromptu lunch visit. Food was absolutely superb. Staff were friendly. A*
Nice atmosphere with good service. Excellent cuisine well presented and good wines The duck is highly recommended. Possibly not the cheapest menu in town but, as ever, you generally get what you pay. We would visit again without hesitation.
It's a small place with only a few tables. I would think it's a good idea to book a table upfront, although we just walked in and we were lucky to take the last table for dinner. The waiters are very friendly and always looking after you. The food is amazing. The menu is short and carefully selected
Excellent meal my husband had the beef he said best he had tasted in a long while My sea bass beautifully cooked Lovely deserts Well priced very good service great atmosphere would definitely recommend a visit
Dec 2021. Been here a few times for lunch and very impressed. Service well timed, food excellent, atmosphere relaxed. Covid restrictions were well dealt with when required. A definite 'go to' when in Wells. Park your car in the long stay car park above Waitrose.
I'm writing this on behalf of my parents. They visited on an evening the place was virtually empty. Evening started poorly in that they were walked past empty tables, round a corner and put in the darkest corner of the restaurant .. their possible crime.. to be over 85 . Maybe confirming hearsay a
I have been eating here since they opened 15 years ago and can honestly say that I have never had an experience that is less than heavenly! Intelligent menus, quality food and excellent service every time. Believe the hype for once!! Go!!
