Staff were great, attentive and polite. Food was absolutely delicious, portion sizes were just right!
Would definitely visit here again and I recommend, especially for couples and small groups.

I half expected tomahawks and teepees but the restaurant turned out to be one serving Indian food and just happened to be called "red". The food was very tasty and well presented. Our starter was remarkably filling, so we weren't able to do the main courses the justice they definitely deserved. This has now gone to the top of my list of "Indian restaurants in this part of Hertfordshire". Hopefully, we will return.

The last time visited Red it was quite late at night so there wasn't many people eating in there hence 3 stars for atmosphere

The staff at the red were absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and they worked extremely hard to make sure we all had a good meal and evening. There was a very large number of us and they managed that really well. The food was delicious. Recommend a night out here. Enjoy. Shout out to Amber x

This is the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to the whole experience from walking in the door is fantastic, staff first class and food with some specialists dishes that have to be tried.
Back again with my son and the service and food are 1st class, thanks to all the staff for being what appears to be a family and taking the time.e to talk to customers it just adds to the experience.

Had a superb banquet night for their anniversary - delicious chutneys, mixed starter and mains, which even included the tandoori seabass, with sides too. We loved the mini cupcakes as a touch after the meal, and left so full for a bargain price. Service was fast despite a very busy evening, and we had a great time. Thanks!

Guy on the phone spoke nicely and clearly, the delivery driver was the same and walked up 3 floors to get it to the door. Food was really nice not too oily, I had a prawn madras was a little watery but the flavour was good and plenty of prawns. My lady had the Pasanda and she enjoyed it and was plenty of lamb in there. Overall... good service, quick delivery good food in would recommend.

Nice Indian restaurant. Food was excellent as it has been on other visits. Found the waiting staff a little stand offish and colder compared to previous times when the manager always came to the table to say hello and check up on things. Not bad but a little impersonal these days.

Visiting from Portsmouth for a couple days and decided to try this restaurant so glad we did amazing service amazing food and amazing chutney tray👍 Will definitely use again and anyone reading the bad reviews on here take no notice and make your own minds up you won’t be disappointed Thankyou to the great staff who made us feel so welcome

Amazing food in my opinion. I would recommend something but it’s all great. Service can be slow however. Waited about an hour for 2 coffees and a scoop of ice cream after waiting ages for our mains. The restaurant wasn’t even busy.

I'd go as far as saying this is hands down the best in Hertfordshire for incredible Indian food! I wasn't that fond of the different dishes before, but Red really opened up my taste buds and I was enjoying everything I crammed into my mouth.
This is a must check out if you aren't local, they deliver or you can enjoy your meal inside the restaurant which is very nice also. Polite staff and always on hand to offer the best service.
