Just got home from an evening at The Grove. We were allocated table 29 which was perfect for us to keep an eye on our children in the playground and also a great view of the TV (England football match) Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our order was serviced very quickly. The burgers were very good. Fantastic service and great value for money. Would definitely recommend this pub and will hopefully be back in the future. Came in on a Friday evening. Pub was buzzing and atmosphere was great. The menu prices are spectacular and the drink menu has some really affordable offers. The lady who served at the bar, although incredibly busy, took the time to pay attention to detail and worked so quickly in order to keep up with the volume of customers. She really impressed me. She had blonde hair worn in a pony tail. Friday 20th October.
Good value & quality food. They give a discount to Camera members on their real ale. Great staff. You can book a table. Quality interior. Friendly crowd.
Really nice friendly service. Great value for money. The music was a bit loud but there was a nice garden out the back. Perfect place for an informal meal.
we was in welwyn visiting family came in on Saturday for dinner great service and lovely food was very busy but did not impact our visit. came back on Sunday for the roast again amazing service from jodie and reece the roast was the best we have had in a pub ever very very pleased and will return on our next family visit

We love coming to the pub for drinks with our dog. Very friendly staff and the prices are very reasonable. They often have promotions, for those who love watching sport - the pub seems to attract many people to watch big games. We have attended a couple of the entertainment evenings, they have also been great fun. Definitely worth a visit.
Popped in for lunch with our granddaughter. Food was really good, freshly made and very good value. Staff couldn't have been more friendly and even brought over a bowl of water for our puppy. A very nice experience thanks.
Our local DJ and the leader of our scooter club, The Welwyn Stags, who regularly attend The Grove had unfortunately been taken I’ll with covid. The Grove provided an amazing Christmas dinner for over 20 of us, great service, great food.
Following Saturday the manager provided music with the scooter scene sound. A fantastic night at such short notice. We didn’t miss out on our annual bash. Fun was had by all. Rate the pub, staff, management top score!!
