Set in beautiful countryside, the Moat Shed is a lovely place to sit in peace and tranquility while enjoying amazing food. I’ve been 5 times now and it just gets better everytime. All the staff are so very friendly and welcoming, I just love it! I’ve eaten something different every time I’ve gone, it all home cooked and absolutely gorgours, full of plenty of enriching flavours, I can’t express enough how lovely it is here and would highly recommend it! I will be going back again very soon. Thank you for always welcoming me, Karen Tobin.

Whilst planning our wedding, The Moat Shed was the first place we looked at but straight away we said yes, we knew it was perfect for us and how right our instinct was! After having our wedding here last weekend, I cannot recommend this beautiful place enough. The setting is so magical, even in the dark when the moat and trees are lit up. The staff have provided us with the most warm and welcoming service. Kate has been absolutely brilliant working with us to plan such a wonderful evening. She made sure that everything was tailored perfectly for our vegan and vegetarian guests. One of the things I heard most that night was how fabulous the food was, it was delicious and was presented so well by the friendly staff. The truck house is home sweet home, such a cozy little nook to retreat to after a day of celebrating, with the most delicious breakfast the next morning. Thank you for making the evening even better than we could dream for. (We're even trying to think up some excuse to have another party there in the future)

The moat shed is a lovely little venue. Just got back from our friends wedding there and we were treated so well. My partner and I are both vegan so we usually get some gloopy old rice at weddings but not this time. The food was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. Big thumbs up

Lovely destination for a drive out for breakfast. Choose from a full English (or the veggie version) or a selection of pastries. The service was good and the staff friendly. The side of the building opens up into a deck overing looking the remnants of an old moat, which makes for a lovely seating area on a sunny day. They serve an evening menu too. Also available for hire for private events, wedding receptions etc. Afternoon teas available.

Great unique place in the countryside. Lovely interior, some good recycling going on- I like the use of the gin bottles! nice outside seating area... local ingredients. different menu. Food was excellent. My only negative comment was that I thought £10 was a bit steep for a large bowl of soup and some bread; although quality was good. Loved the old tractors by the car park. Also you can walk into the field opposite to look at the 'moat'.

We have had a few take away meals from here, some interesting food, all good. They have changed their focus so not often open to the public, therefore we had to take the opportunity for afternoon tea. As expected, all was good and we enjoyed the environment.
