Have ordered from Like Mama Used to make a few times now, absolutely best pizza in Wem without a doubt. Quick delivery by a lovely lady and always hot. The halloumi fries are delicious too!! Would definitely recommend 👍🏻

100% worth the drive from Shrewsbury! Had dinner with a friend and was placed right in the window, lovely place inside accompanied by great authentic fresh food. Service was fantastic and we even got a complimentary limoncello at the end. Can't wait to come back.

Lovely little hidden gem this place. Beautiful food, authentic Italian cooking and exceptionally friendly / polite staff. Big big portions for your money and honestly you'll find this place hard to beat and that's even thinking back to when I visited Rome! Thank you to our waitress for tonight x

First time dining in for dinner, will definitely be back. Fresh food, cooked to order with good service. Nice selection of drinks - wine in particular (montepulciano was really nice) Reasonable price for 2 people, 3 courses and drinks.

We’ve just had a delicious meal at your restaurant. We shared a lovely Mediterranean focaccia, then had the chicken in champagne sauce and the sea bass for mains, all were delicious! We then had tiramisu, lemon mouse and affagato for dessert. All washed down with a lovely bottle of Shiraz! Delicious thank you. The lady looking after us was friendly and very attentive, we will definitely be back.

First delivery by Vincenzo and the team, really good quality food and flavours. Inevitably you could get cheaper and substandard food in the locality but with quality of the ingredients, portion size and skill of the chef considered, it is good value. As well as the owner, kudos to the front of house team who we spoke with before delivery and the driver in finding our address and delivering with a smile. Will be ordering again but also looking forward to visiting in person - grazie mille!

We tried Like Mama Used To Make for the first time tonight, and we're very happy with the service and quality of food! We had two veggie pizza, the sauce and dough was beautiful and just the perfect amount of cheese!!! They were quick and friendly to deliver, and the price was fair! Definitely will order there again!

Best takeaway we have had in a long time! The quality of the food is restaurant quality. The garlic bread was amazing, the chips were fluffy, the penne vodka pasta was amazing and the spicy pizza was delicious. Everything so full of flavor.

Found this little gem just by chance looking for somewhere to eat in Wem. It wasn't on Trip Advisor (according to waiter it only opened in Nov 2020). You wouldn't notice it if just walking around Wem as it is upstairs by the car park outside co-op, but worth hunting down. The staff are really friendly, and the food is amazing, reminded me of Sicily. The wine was very good too. Nicely distanced seating. Recommend booking as popular.

Freshly prepared luscious food. Good wine list. Perhaps 5* if salt and pepper levels are left to customer to modify to taste from a lower level.

Had a fabulous meal before the cinema in the Town Hall. Wonderful food and happy, friendly staff. A real delight. We'll definitely be back ... even if we don't go to the cinema after :-)

Absolutely delicious! We went for a meal here last night ahead of lockdown, and I have to say it was completely faultless. The service was brilliant, all staff were very attentive and couldn’t do enough for you. The food was VERY tasty, we’ve eaten lots of Italian food in the mother country itself and during the many years we spent in the big smoke, and still both my husband & I thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. We will absolutely be returning once this lockdown is over and can’t wait to make it a weekly occurrence and bring the kids along. A fantastic addition for Wem and very fairly priced.
