Seaview Cafe

Stopped there late lunchtime yesterday (Tues 24th Oct) with my wife and two boys. The chap with the glasses opened the door to greet us as we approached, instantly from his warm welcome I knew we had made the right choice. He continually interacted with us, and my 4 year old son really clicked with him. The food was great, the atmosphere was warm and friendly but the attention to detail and the attentiveness from the member of staff we met was exceptional and the high levels of service made this a memorable part of our holiday. Would just like to say thank you to him for his friendly welcome and excellent service. We loved our visit. Food was great too! Best wishes, The Wards. 👍🏻

Well what can I say pass McCaskies every week going to caravan ,my husband noticed the award they have won si I gave it a try 3 weeks ago and love all of the produce best butchers I have went to just placed another order and will pick it up next week myself and my husband just love it and also last week I hot the Macaroni best one I have tasted thanks again it's great to get a decent butcher see you all on 27th July when I come for my order thanks Mrs Elizabeth Lynch.

As always really enjoyed our visit to the cafe at McCaskies. Friendly welcome by staff and the young man who served our table was courteous and personable. Watching him greet and interact with other customers who arrived you could tell he knew his stuff(even giving one customer ferry information, impressive)and his people skills were faultless. The food was lovely as expected and we left with full bellys and a smile on our faces. Well done.

Great little breakfast place, right near train station and ferry port- great for people staying at the campsite! Attached to butchers / farm shop and so food was fresh and tasty! Seating area was bright and open, with nice decor and lovely staff. Veggie breakfast has Veggie haggis which was a first for me- but well worth a try. Only downside was that another Veggie breakfast came with bacon by accident. Simple mistake, but something to keep an eye on!

Great place to stop for a coffee and cake or a meal before getting on the ferry opposite or after getting off the ferry. We stopped for coffee, deluxe hot chocolate and cakes which were very tasty but lots of other guests had a meal, which also looked very nice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Small free car park next to the Cafe or a pay and display along the road. After our snack we had a look around the old station right opposite the Cafe.
