This is my absolute favourite restaurant and place to spend some time. Never had a bad meal, the staff and management are lovely and if on the odd occasion something is not right I just mention it and it’s sorted. Ignore the bad reviews and judge for yourselves you won’t be disappointed. They even have a bouncy castle and entertainment for the kids. These guys are really trying and deserve credit for there innovative ideas and creative menus which are fantastic. Yes things change such as losing the carvery for the summer but a new improved menu is born and these changes keep it fresh.

We went to visit this pub on the way back from the beach on Sunday and absolutely loved it! Food was fantastic and the staff letting us feed the Larmas was really special, in fact the staff totally made the evening for us. I would 1000% recommend stopping her for a spot of lunch x

We had a lovely meal last night thank you. Staff went above and beyond to source me a chair with arms as my mum had her hip replaced 4 weeks ago. We all really enjoyed our food. Thank you again.

Shane & Ash were so accommodating, and easy to work with and made sure we had a fantastic event. Brilliant. Staying close by with our dog and this was dog friendly so thought we would give it a try. Wasn’t expecting much but everything was spot on, staff were friendly, quick and helpful. Food was excellent and reasonably priced and no, it’s not carvery only, the menu items were all really good as well. Kids had pizzas , looked like they had used a pizza oven and a good size, I had steak pie which was cracking and the rest of the food was very good as well . Definitely give it a go. 5 stars

Lovely carvery, best I've had in a long time. We ate every scrap.
2 of us had the carvery, 1 had gammon and one had steak and ale pie, we all enjoyed the food.lovely cosy atmosphere.

A group of us came here recently. Most of us had the carvery which was delicious. The meat quality was amazing. Beef that melted in the mouth , great assortment of vegetables. Some had the steak pie and said it was one of the nicest . Ànd real chips no frozen rubbish . Staff where great . Definitely going back

Went for the carvery tonight, very impressed! The decor is stunning and the staff were all polite and helpful to a specific request. Everything was fresh and tasty, also read that the carvery is all locally sourced products which is fantastic 10/10, will definitely be back
