Stayed for 2 weeks on a business trip. Overall food is of a good standard, staff are very friendly. Could sometimes wait a while to receive a drink. Vicky the manager is spot on, very bubbly and likeable. I will be returning soon for another 2 weeks in the near future.

Went here for an after wedding ceremony dinner and it was lovely. The staff were quite attentive and friendly. They had several vegan options for me which was especially nice as I'd hate to be burdensome or starving at a party. I really liked the vegan smothered chicken and the cauliflower bites especially. The favours and crispyness was chef's kiss.

I tend to come here to enjoy the lovely beer garden in the summer. Popped in today at lunchtime with the weather hitting almost 40°C. Relaxed under a parasol with a cider, and then ordered food from the daytime menu, with two meals for £9.49. The staff here are very friendly and polite, like to the point that you notice how nice they are. Fantastic service. The food was great, I expected the quality to diminish with the price, but it really didn't. Definitely recommend.

Warm greeting when we arrived, served for drinks and food pretty quickly. Lots of choice on the money and prices were reasonable. We went for the two mains for £10.49, very good value for money. We had the smothered chicken and the chicken burger, both really tasty and decent portion size. Kids had beef burger and poppers, again decent portion sizes with a good selection of sides available. Also had dessert, brownie for the kids which were a good size, and caramal apple Betty and the profiteroles for the grown ups. The apply Betty was delicious!! The tables were clean but the floor could have done with a good hoover, which is the only reason for marking the atmosphere down. But given that we only saw a couple of staff they were doing a great job!

Had my a room booked at premier inn, which includes a meal deal for dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff is friendly and attentive and the food is delicious, at a good price as well, what’s not to like?

Popped in for a breakfast, there's something for everyone, hot and cold meals, fruits, cereal, bread, pancakes and plenty more. There's a lot of options for drinks which are hot and cold and best of all there bottomless. It was not busy when we arrived, which made the perfect atmosphere for a catch up with a friend. Service was great 👍🏾 Will definitely go there again.

Really friendly staff. Made a fuss of our girls, asking them all about their dance competition. Lovely food and good service.

I had a cheeseburger with bacon, rather dry and average burger. If you're a burger fan then this isn't the place, it doesn't have the burger soul. However the person who served us, Corey, was an absolute breath of fresh air! He was friendly, kind, fantastic with the children. He listened to our request to be seated away from other people who didn't have children, giving us options (I hate to inconvenience people who don't have children with our loud pair). Corey went above and beyond and reminded me what truly exceptional service is like again.

Lunch time with Friends. The restaurant was quiet at 2pm just a few people in was easy to get a table. It's table service and we only waited a few minutes before someone took our drinks order. The drinks arrived quickly and waitress took our food order it was 45 minutes later when it arrived despite being so quiet. They are quick to keep checking if you want drinks. The food was nice, it was hot, just normal pub grub. I would return and hope meals were served more quickly next time.

Nice hidden pub next to the canal. I had no idea it was here. Popped in for a quick dinner last minute and wasnt disappointed. Simple pub grub cooked well. Friendly staff. Was a little confused about where to order, your waitress comes to the table.

We visited today for our girls lunch out, had a lovely roast dinner, beef gammon and turkey was the meat choices, plenty of meat and veg, also did a vegetarian option. We was told it would take 45 minutes for order to come out, but we wasn't to bothered by this, we were to busy chatting and having a drink. Food came out hot. Melissa was our waitress she was friendly and helpful. Will definitely return
