Absolute brilliant place. Food is pure Portuguese, went there with my Portuguese girlfriend and even she was impressed, even have super bock! You also get a lot of food for your £. Plus close to all the main airport hotels so if you don’t want stodgy holiday inn food or fast food delivery, I cannot recommend this place highly enough!!
A lovely little Portuguese restaurant with tasty authentic food, good portions and reasonable prices. I loved my pork in garlic sauce started and the salt cod(bacalhau) a braz was superb. Great place to know if needing to stay overnight at one of the Heathrow hotels. I'll be back!
Very cute little shop, with so many people!
Very busy little place, but it's worth going... I like Portuguese breakfast. Very friendly atmosphere but only one problem... parking is mad! Restaurant has its own parking, but due to some reason, it's close, and street parking isn't that good.
Small but amazing restaurant!! Such a hidden gem! Everything is proper Portuguese, from small bites to the wine selection. The octopus was sooo good, and just like what they will served in Portugal. Even the TV is in Portuguese! Fantastic place with great and friendly service!!!!!
Delicious food & large portions. Able to order from cafe & restaurant menus. As it gets busy with the locals, try to make a reservation when dinning at popular times
Really good restaurant. The cod fish (Bacalhau a Madeirinhas) was amazing and melted in my mouth. The skewers and the "bitoque" were also great.
The staff is also five stars and they speak both Portuguese and English. Well worth a visit. I do advise to book before going as it is a small restaurant.
Great Authentic Portuguese Restaurant👌🏽 Food is amazing and stuff are very friendly.. the place is not very fancy but it gives you the right Mediterranean vibes you need 😍
FEBRAS NA BRASA € 13.5
(Grilled Pork Steak With Chips, Rice & Egg)
The portion of the food will definitely satisfy your stomach. The pork was a bit salty but in general was fine. But I forgot to drop by the cafe just next to the restaurant 🥲
Cozy little gem. Very friendly service and lovely tasty pastries. Even though crust of the pasteis de nata lost some crunchiness, the custard was rich and creamy. The almond, custard (yes I love custard), and cinnamon pastry was heartwarming in the winter morning. The toastie was simple but hearty, with unbeatable price. Many thanks for suggesting we order only one toastie!
Definitely worth the easy walk from the hotel and skipping the reportedly dreadful reheated frozen food there.
Also learned a bit about the Madeira region from wiki and travel blogs;)

Back again two months later! This is mostly the reason why I chose to stay around Heathrow for an early flight.
Octopus was nicely cooked. Tender, springy. The seasoning was simple, but the garlicky savory flavor was great.
Came with good portion of cooked vegetables and lovely potatoes. Octopus is among the most expensive menu items but definitely worth it. (The whole dinner was less than 30 GBP.)
I had a long struggle between octopus and pork ribs and other traditional stews. Will definitely come back for them;)
Again, the place is small, busy, but not crowded thanks to the fast service.
(Tried “Chinese lady”/white coffee this time. 😅 really interested to know more about the origin of the name, which seems to be particular to the region.)
The pastries are irresistible. Had a few to go for late night snacks and tomorrow breakfast, but the chicken pear was gone as soon as I arrived at my hotel… beautifully spiced and delicious even eaten cold. Ham cheese pocket is probably better eaten warm, as the cheese got solid in this weather. Still tasty though. And what’s better than a pastel de nata at the gates?
Eventually I’ll try them all 😌
Found this hidden gem really close to my Hotel near Heathrow Airport, no wanting to eat at the hotel for no particular reason I started looking on Maps for a place nearby and found this place about a ten 10 minute walk from where I was staying. The place is divided into the bakery and restaurant, with separate entrances, it's a small place so I guess if you come at a peak time it will be full in no time. The food was outstanding and the service was great, loved everything about the place. Definitely recommend.
Cracking little spot, good wholesome food, wish we had walked to/from the hotel to burn off some calories!
Great service, simple Mediterranean cooking that tastes fantastic.
Highly recommend to any traveller not wanting reheated hotel food or fast food.
Wow… I am impressed. Very tasty food. If I will have chance I will come back. MEGA PLUS👍👍👍
A Portuguese restaurant. I liked the food. It was so good. I tried three different desserts and they are all my favorites. There’s a café with the same name at the other corner of the building. If you find it doesn’t look like a restaurant, get to the other side. There’s a supermarket called Supermarket in between the two doors.
Grilled sea bass and grilled pork ribs were terrific. Worth the walk from the hotel, and turned this cancelled flight day around for us. Fun, authentic, friendly neighborhood for a great dinner out.
Just lovely. Just what I needed after too long surviving on airport and airline food and coffee. I had the Portuguese stew and I was really impressed. And a really good coffee. Definitely coming back next time I pass through Heathrow.
Atmosphere is casual and the restaurant is not super fancy- just good food at reasonable prices.
This place is such a gem in an unexpected location.
The food at the restaurant (there is a cafe as well) is amazing. One of the softest octopus I ever tasted, and my wife had a delicious fish cooked to perfection.
The service was impeccable and the lady looking after us was very attentive and helpful.
The parking is a challenge if you come by car, but if you ask the waitress she might be able to help with a parking spot at the back. All the other parking places are for residents only with no exceptions even Sundays.
We will definitely come back here again.
Amazing Portuguese food! Service can improve as we had to wait a long time for someone to come and get our order but overall delicious food, chilled atmosphere and friendly staff!
Regarding parking - you will have to find nearby roads and then walk to the place.
Food are really delicious! Good service as well. Recommend the slow cooked beef
Genuine Portuguese food and soooo tasty! Make sure you are hungry when you go, as the portions are generous. It's a really good alternative place to dine if you're staying in one of the Heathrow hotels in Bath Road, especially at the Radisson Red end.
