Came here with two kids, and they managed to squeeze in a table last moment. Great service, even better food! Nice pub atmosphere; definitely recommended!

Recently moved to West Linton ( April 2019) and have squeezed in at least a monthly visit to the Bakehouse
Been in as part of a large family gathering, as well as smaller groups (me, my 12 year old daughter and 11 year old son) and as a couple.

Nice, romantic little restaurant in an old bakery. Small rooms and low ceiling. Lovely place for a nice dinner. The fish and chips is a good portion, you should try. I had Cider with it, found a new one which I now prefer.
Like the Tardis, this lovely restaurant is larger on the inside than on the out. Enter via the warm and cozy but small bar, equipped with sofas and a range fireplace. Through the side and it opens up into a much larger restaurant serving fine Scottish fayre. The Old Bakehouse retains many period

I went for dinner last night with my family. The steak was the best I’ve tasted in a long time! Ian the owner was amazing and his hospitality is excellent - my kids love him! We’ve booked a table of 20 for a family birthday next month and we can’t wait to go back.

Just really nice place to eat... waitress had a full knowledge of the menu and very attentive. Food was braw and made even better with the good company. Couldn't fault any thing. I would recommend it.
A hidden gem in the beautiful setting of West Linton. Amazing service with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Great food with something for everyone, including vegetarian, vegan and Gluten free options. The house red is a fantastic wine and amazing value, and goes perfectly with the game pie

A must if you want great food. One of my great memories will be sitting on a comfy sofa with a single malt in hand in front of a open fire, listening to Frank Sinatra playing on Ian's record player you cant beat vinyl . with the snow

Have dined here, both in the restaurant, and the famous Bakeaway (take away) lots of times. The food is always an extremely high standard and they always serve it with enough entertainment as host but are never intrusive. Will continue to eat here!
