I received a lovely hamper from here for Christmas and everything in it (that I've scoffed so far...) has been excellent. Beautifully presented and loving finding new producers of some favourites. I don't live locally, but I will certainly call into the shop next time I'm visiting the buyer of the hamper.... who does :}. (Wee Sis') :)

The wife and I visited the Pyet restaurant (formerly the Old Bakehouse) in West Linton last night. It was brilliant. What a terrific hidden gem of a place. The food was simply amazing and it was the attention to detail and excellent service (thanks Pauline) that really made the difference. The chef Jordan came out and chatted which was very nice. This is a highly recommended family-run business set in cosy and intimate environment. We left very satisfied and well fed!
Staying in the village on Holiday and wanted a local meal out and this place was superb.
The food was beautiful, fresh and so tasty. We had the Scottish Nachos to share which were amazing. Two gorgeous Steak and Haggis pies, the best Pizza my son has ever had (his words) and a giant steak burger for my youngest. So full we could only share a pud, so worth it.
Great value for money too and the staff were really welcoming and helpful.

We stopped at The Pyet a few nights ago, it was a complete pin in the map guess on a long trip from Edinburgh to Bristol....and we are SO glad we found this place.
The cosy atmosphere was so welcoming, the staff were so kind and friendly, and helpful, and made sure we and our doggies were comfortable. The food was divine, one of the best meals we've had out in a long time. It was the perfect end to a very special week away for us, and we will divert on our next trip up, just to eat here again! Merry Christmas to you guys.

We had a truly lovely visit to The Pyet during our stay in West Linton and can’t recommend this place highly enough. Fantastic food, good wine, super-friendly staff, beautiful surroundings. We’re trying to fit in another visit before we leave. Well done team!

Extremely impressed! Probably the best egg mayo and cheese baked potato I’ve ever had! A massive portion that did not last very long!

Love the Pyet! Excellent menu, with comfort food choices to fun twists on classic foods. We love the pizzas, especially the El Capo and Diablo! The atmosphere is lovely and the staff have always been very friendly and super helpful. This spot is a gem!

We went to the restaurant for dinner and were not disappointed! Delicious food, wonderful and friendly staff, and a good selection of drinks. Would highly recommend. If we are ever up this way again, we will definitely be coming for a second visit.

Stopped in Monday lunchtime while walking in the area and got filled morning rolls and coffee to take away. It was busy inside so we waited outside, and they brought them out when they were ready. Perfect! 💯
