Had a Sunday roast, its a lovely unique country pub that use to be stables. My roast was average , service was friendly and pleasant. Lovely decorated pub , relaxing and calm and they are also dog friendly pity its so far out of London.

This is a charming historical cosy pub, with a log fire. The food and service are excellent. Would definitely recommend this pub for a visit.
Always love this venue and great food. However, disappointed, as we had booked for 4 persons 3 weeks in advance and because we were initially asked to be seated in the cold 'stable' because of "walk-ins". I thought the "walk-ins" should have been put in the "stable" and my table as "reserved". Howe

After a rather stressful morning car shopping just down the road, we got to the Angel around half past 2. Starving and a little delirious, we walked through the large seating area outside the front of the pub where plenty of people were eating and enjoying the sunshine.

Dog friendly as l do not go anywhere with out them. Nice selection of good food and friendly staff. The portion of Gypsy Tart was the smallest l have ever seen in Kent and l am a bit of a expect.
