I visited with my family yesterday (6th Oct) and we had a great time. We were welcomed straight away and managed to get a seat in the popular play area. The food has got more expensive but smaller portions and is no where near as filling. I used to feel it was value for money but not so much anymore. The food was nice but very small portions.
The soft play is always a bonus for those with young kids but it does shut at 7pm and there was no colouring
We had dinner at Castle Lake yesterday evening. We were travelling back from Disneyland and stopped at the Premier Inn to break up our journey. We were with our two children aged 8 and 6.

Food was fine but took a very long time to arrive. Overall it was good for us as we needed somewhere to meet as a family where the kids could run around and it worked perfectly
Just met family for breakfast. Plenty out at the hot breakfast buffet, plus pastries, juice, fruit etc. Pleasant and helpful staff when you needed something, though the tables weren't cleared as you ate, so plates piled up. Decent breakfast for the price overall.
After having plenty of issues over the last six months or so with a Manager who would turn people away claiming they were fully booked for Breakfast when it was clearly less than a quarter full, It is lovely to see happier staff and Manager Lisa back.
