The food here is authentic, tasty and really hits home for me. It tastes much better than all the Cantonese restaurants I've been to in London (and better value).
The owners are also super friendly and nice! I'll be making sure I come back regularly to satisfy my cravings for Cantonese food :).
Really lovely place. Staff are super friendly and literally learn your name without you having to say it when you phone in! Yes I am a regular but they do it to a lot of people. Food is really good, hence becoming a regular!
Food is always lovely here would recommend. It's the best in the area by far and if the chairs are stain a little you won't be eating your food off them will you. Harry and Kim love your cooking xx

Ordered from here last night - food was piping hot and didn’t wait long. No issues at all. Had tried another take away from an expensive restaurant not far from here and this beats it hands down!! Food tastes great!!
Food is always consistent. I cannot recall ever having a bad meal from Ho Lap House and portion sizes are reasonable, if you want a buffet size meal then go to Buddha Belly. Of course it's possible to get orders wrong on occasion, other local takeaways ive ordered from have offered to correct the order but have asked that i come back to collect the dish which is totally unacceptable, but on the 1 occasion when this happened with Ho Lap House they have dealt with it by sending out the missing dish for delivery immediately, irritating but resolved quickly and efficiently.
Overall this is the best chinese takeaway I have ever been been to and they always do a great job and food is delicious.
This Chinese is one of the best in the ME20 locality, consistently delivers quality food every time. I highly recommend you try for yourself.
Now that we have found the Ho Lap Chinese we are staying with them.
