Had a great stay. Very friendly staff, and a spacious and well appointed room with a comfortable bed, free WiFi and tea and coffee making facilities. Enjoyed the freshly cooked breakfast and there was also plenty of choice in the continental selection. Restaurant had a nicely varied menu and the food was great. Dog friendly with ample free parking on site.
Lovely old hotel,excellent food,would like to have stayed in main hotel but were put in an outside bungalow. Bungalow was welcoming and compact,everything you needed,warm and lovely decor. Only downside was the mattress, very uncomfortable with a roll together in the middle. Other than that,fabulous stay, lovely helpful friendly staff,will definitely be staying again x

Stopped there overnight after working in the area. The hotel has gone through a lot of renovation and improvements. The rooms are well appointed, some with wet rooms. The rooms and hotel in general were clean and well maintained, staff very friendly and attentive. We went out for evening meal, but the breakfast was excellent and they happily catered for all needs. The hotel is located just a few minutes walk from several pubs and restaurants. Free WiFi was good and strong. Beds were very comfy. Highly recommended

There are some rooms in a separate 'lodge' (just at the rear/side of the hotel, 10m away) which are nice & quiet.

Have visited twice with my girlfriend for dinner and have been very satisfied with the food on both occasions. Friendly and helpful staff. And the warm bread after ordering is a nice touch.
We had lunch at the Chalford House Hotel for a birthday treat. Great atmosphere , friendly and professional hosts. Scampi and Chips was delicious.
