Nice location, extremely helpful and friendly staff. Room was spotless and everything worked as it should. Food was decent pub grub and good value. Only downside was that the square it is on faces a 'sports bar' which had live music on until late and was noisy. Excellent value for money.

Walked in on the off chance. We were very pleasantly greeted and served. The carvery was outstanding, and all the staff we encountered were courteous and friendly. Will certainly be going back for seconds!

A very charming place, it's quite old, with lots of original features, the room was surprisingly spacious, lovely breakfast, we were so happy actually to find this place. Good value for your money.

We went for a meal a couple of years ago it was awful it has changed people now and things are very different now
