Eat here a couple of times a week I love it, the staff are friendly and efficient I would recommend thst you try, I personally like to keep my Piadina fillings nice and simple but there's a lot of options if you really want to push the boat out...the pasta is cooked to my liking also with a good selection of sauces and fillings..try it I'm sure you won't be disappointed..

Very nice little, and I mean that literally, Italian. Food is excellent, service is quick and friendly. The dining area is quite cramped but this only adds to its charm. My Tagliatelle Bolognese was fantastic and my partners Piadina (kind of a very thin base, folded pizza) was delicious. Because of time constraints we didn’t have time to sample the dessert menu but we will certainly be back. Highly recommended
Brilliant little restaurant. It's tight for space but there's more seating outside. Everything is homemade, authentic and tastes lovely. The staff are very friendly and the service is great. And the best bit? The desserts are amazing!
Lovely little place with a big friendly atmosphere.. I can imagine the place feeling quite close when it's busy as it's so small, but I popped during lunch and I was just the right amount of cozy.
Food was done quick and tasted very nice.

A lovely little restaurant offering dine in or take away options. The food is delicious, served by really welcoming and friendly staff. I didn't realise beforehand that it was Bring Your Own Alcohol but that wasn't an issue - I got to try lychee juice 😋 After a very tasty piadina, the dessert menu was also too tempting to turn away, and the hot peanut butter brownie was totally sumptuous. It can be a little cosy inside the restaurant so in the current situation it was helpful to find out that they have a little seating area out the back for open air dining.
As the guy outside the place said, "if u want some proper Italian local food, here's the place" which turns out to be true! Lovely Piadina always make me wanna go back again. Its my second time today and decide to share this amazing place with people around!

Really friendly. Fast service. The folded flatbreads are really good. The Chalkwell cafe is small but charming. There is a larger branch in Southend-On-Sea off the high Street.
Lovely food, lovely atmosphere. Incredible Italian street food at low prices. It’s teeny tiny in here but I think it adds to the atmosphere. Even eat in food is served in card containers with plastic forks. Just FYI.

Fantastic Italian street food. Wonderful friendly owners and the rest of the team are a joy. I'm a regular, always yummy, whether it's a piadina or pasta. Garlic bread with cheese and homemade cheesecake delicious too. If you wish to drink alcohol you can bring your own.
Beautiful atmosphere, small and cozy with an extended and well-lit garden. The piadina with pulled pork was delicious, we would highly recommend it, and the tagliatelle picante was also lovely. High quality and you could tell it’s homemade. Tiramisu was amazing! Very friendly waitress
Ordered three pastas for pickup and the food was ready quickly. The food itself was amazing and they made sure the lactose-free option was indeed lactose free. The portions are very generous and very good value for money. The smell in the car on the way back was so tempting, I didn't even get any photos of the food before eating it.
Excellent Italian cafe serving a menu of pastas and piadina (flat breads) food is fresh and tasty. Prices are good value. Well worth visiting

Super good food and service. Place is kinda small but that just gives it a super nice atmosphere. Deserts are really good even if the main course is usually very filling as well as to die for. Cheesy garlic bread is a great starter.
