Very nice restaurant. Great service and the food was excellent. Would actually give a 4.5. They had run out of panna cotta at 8pm on a Friday night. So unfortunately I can't give a 5.

Il Mondo is my favourite restaurant in Southend. The staff are super friendly and attentive and make you feel welcome each time you visit. And the food! So fresh and delicious and excellent value for money. Superb!

Fabulous staff, authentic Italian food with fresh ingredients and a great depth of flavour at a reasonable price. The staff openly state "change any ingredient you like" and that's a great bonus if you have kids. We really cannot recommend this restaurant enough.
