We are traveling in the UK, this is a lovely town with beautiful scenery by the sea, I saw this restaurant on Google, very good experience, the food is delicious, we ordered soft shell crab burger, bloody Mary cocktail, seafood It's fresh and the environment is beautiful. I recommend sitting at the Garden outside table. In addition, I would like to praise the staff for their excellent service . He is super attentive and take care of every table guest. When he saw me feeling cold, he offered to help open the hitting, which made me feel very warm. Will definitely come here again.
We had a lovely meal and drinks today. Beautifully decorated inside and out. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Cocktails were really lovely too. Staff were friendly! Would definitely recommend and will be back :)
The restaurant and outside eating and drinking area is really nice. The service was really good and pleasant. Had a lovely meal. My wife had "the best oysters ever" here and would love to come back. Reasonable prices and great service.
A very nice place to eat and enjoy the view of the sea, food quality was excellent the oysters are lovely and a very fresh piece of lemon sole was cooked to perfection. lovely atmosphere with welcoming staff who were informative and very good at their job. I will be going back most definitly
We went on a Thursday evening as a table of four. The garden area, lighting, etc. at the front facing the seafront is lovely.
We ate in the restaurant, which has also been decorated well. The service was fabulous. The staff were attentive but did not overly intrude.
The menu was well-thought out, and the advice we received from the Waitress was excellent. There is a wide variety of international seafood dishes to choose from, and for meat-eaters and vegetarians there are good options.
The restaurant was very quiet and we got the impression it was more of a lunchtime or early evening venue at this time of year (late September). This, therefore, meant there was a lack of atmosphere, but it did not impact on our experience.
We had an excellent meal celebrating my birthday. The service from Mel was first class - she was friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was outstanding. We sat in the garden, fortunate to enjoy an unseasonably warm October evening, and really enjoyed the atmosphere.
We'll definitely go back next time we're in the area.
Last night we had the pleasure of dining at Oyster Creek in Southend on Sea, and I must say that it was a truly fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious.
Our waiter Max was an absolute gem. He was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our meal, offering expert recommendations and ensuring that we had everything we needed to make our dining experience enjoyable.
As for the food, everything we tried was top-notch. The oysters were incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the Steak and Lobster was a real standout, with perfectly cooked steak. The wine selection was also impressive, with plenty of options to suit every taste.
Overall, I would highly recommend Oyster Creek to anyone looking for a fantastic meal in Southend on Sea. The food is truly exceptional, the atmosphere is inviting and comfortable, and Max is an outstanding waiter who really made our dining experience memorable. Don't hesitate to book a table here - you won't regret it!
Just lovely, great service and great food. Really friendly and super accommodating of our group with two small children.
Visited on the hottest day of the year and it was sweltering inside. Luckily there is a beautiful outdoor section where there are umbrellas and a lovely cool sea breeze.
Food was good and looked great. Taste wise nothing blew me away aside from the oysters and there was too much sauce on the lobster/crab dishes. Otherwise loved the presentation and the freshness of the food and would visit again.
Food was good. The fish was a bit bland but everything else was very tasty and amazing atmosphere very calm and cozy. I could have been on holiday. Staff were a bit moody but helpful if we asked a question. Very happy with the place. Would go again.
I have just been to Oyster Creek and had a really great dining experience. The restaurant itself has a quirky-holiday vibe with a great interior. The staff were attentive and polite and everything that everyone ordered was delicious. I had the Ceviche followed by the Crab Burger. Can't wait to go again
Fab restaurant for a special meal as it was my husband's birthday. Service was great and food was superb.
A really lovely fish restaurant on the seafront at Southend. A converted Victorian summer house with fabulous views across the estuary. Inside and outside seating is available and booking online was a breeze. The fish and chip portions are huge and tastes absolutely delicious. The only downside is the automatic 10% service charge which I feel should be up to the customer to decide. Service was good but £5 on top of my bill for simply taking my order and bringing it to the table seemed excessive considering they do exactly the same at a Wimpy.
Wow, what a fab experience here today. We absolutely loved our meal at lunch. The outdoor space is stunning and it's such a great sun trap as well. The service was really wonderful and Joe, our server, was attentive, kind and friendly. The food was out of this world amazing too, and the seafood was fresh and full of flavour. We had a fantastic experience, especially considering we were late and they held our table for us. Thank you so much for a great meal!
A summers evening outside at the Oyster Creek Kitchen and the food and service was great. Portions are of a good size and very tasty. The dessert were delicious too! All very well presented with lovely little touches to each dish. On a warm evening we enjoyed the views and the atmosphere was lovely. Well done everyone!
OH MY WOW! took my Bessie and her daughter for a Lobster treat. Service, staters and mains were all incredible. Super tasty, cooked to perfection. Highly recommended 🥳🙌🏼👍🏻
This place on a sunny day, with a nice cold drink overlooking the estuary, forget about it!!!
I've been there recently and it made our day.
The food was on spot, service was quick and the deserts were memorable.
Be warned about the price, the bill looked a lot more Central London than Southend, but the food, the drinks, service and location make up for it.
Would greatly recommend!
