We just love this best kept secret and hidden gem of Western although once discovered people stay loyal to it & return time & again. Great quality food, nice to be asked if you want your dressing /sauce mixed in or on the side. The mains were so good we ordered 3 desserts between the two of us so as not to miss out. Lovely owner Nick and waitress Magi, thank you

Sunday roast to my friends, I had grilled salmon and it was cooked perfectly. I like lemon with my salmon and as it was not served, I have asked for a slice. It’s not much but I was surprised to be charged 0,20 pence for it. Everyone was happy with the meal. Very good taste and value for money.

Wonderful homely, hearty food and lovely relaxed and welcoming feel to this restaurant serving mainly traditional English dishes plus others with continental influences. Very reasonable prices and great portion sizes. Really enjoyed the vegan schnitzels with tomato sauce and selection of vegetables, all perfectly cooked and well presented. Super friendly staff too. A hidden gem!

We stumbled upon this place by chance and decided to give it a try, I have to say we were very pleased with our decision. Great food that's actually prepared on the premises and a warm and friendly welcome. We're already planning to go back to to try their Full English breakfast

Fabulous food cooked to perfection! Our meals were severed on piping hot plates, keeping the food warm even at the end of the meal. The service was great and friendly.

Fantastic home cooked fresh food from a small but varied menu. Highly recommended. Limited number of tables. Clean and elegant decor, super ladies loo!

Went to W.S.M for the day and found Café La Mer. Service was first class and the food, especially my Full English, which was cooked to perfection. Will certainly go back.
