Ordered fish and chips x2 and 2 cans of lemonade.. The fish was just lovely, nice crispy battery and the chips. Staff very friendly, shop beautifully traditional decorated with an added historic story regarding who founded papas. The only downside was the cost £28.00 which I feel is expensive .

Drove down to go for a walk and ended up getting chips here because of reviews. Chips were like crunchy clouds, fish/meat were such good quality! Freshly prepared, just so tasty, even down to the pickles…I’m not sure if they pickle their pickles in house but it’s the best I’ve ever tasted…staff were kind/smiley and there is loads of photography history which is nice, they also offer eat in option if you wanted too. I’d recommend this place and we will defo do the drive to return.

I'd been looking forward to eating here for a while since booking our weekend in weston and it didn't dissappoint. Gorgeous fish and chips, we cleared our plates!. The service was excellent and very quick considering there was a few in already. Lovely traditional looking restaurant which you don't see many of now. Will definitely return.

Wonderful afternoon fish and chips, excellent.
We had the regular haddock and chips and it was huge, thank god they didn't have the large fish available as would have been too much for us. Seating area a little cramped but not too bad, great service and staff

Nice place. Very busy but good service. Waitresses very pleasant but efficient. Had lovely food. Hot and large portions delivered in 10 mins after ordering. Will visit again when we are down that way

The best fish and chips we ever had. A huge piece of fish with a perfect crust, not oily at all, with lovely chips soft inside and crispy outside.
Definitely will return here. Strongly recommend

The fish and chips were excellent, some of the best I've had. My family aged from 3 to 73 agree! The service was also friendly and excellent, highly recommend going here if you're visiting Weston Super Mare

Fabulous roe & chips as ever! Been coming here for few years now, I used to live in Weston so went to the very first opening of papas & was in the local newspaper 📰 we got free fish n chips,never go anywhere else.
