A lovely Sunday lunch! The best roast potatoes I have ever had!? The view is amazing !! The gorgeous waitress from Bolton was so lovely! If you want a good roast, a decent glass of wine & a log fire then this is your place!

Top quality evening menu in the week. The Sunday roasts are also the best I've had in Weston.
The Chef. Staff and whole team are really friendly and deliver a great service. Highly recommend this place. Will defo be back again and again.
Chanced upon this place whilst looking for somewhere to sit down, eat and appreciate the view and the sunshine!
The roof terrace is great and there was a decent live band doing covers whilst we were there which added to the atmosphere.
We tried the small plates which were very tasty. There is a small bar with limited choice but we had the option to walk up to the main bar if we wanted something different.
We could happily have stayed there all evening but we were only down for the day. Perhaps we'll stay overnight next time!
Fantastic food, amazing staff and presentation. Recommend trying the roast dinners, but book in advance as it's very popular.
Great pub overlooking the sea with an outdoor bar and music. Sunday lunch looked amazing but had sold out so went for the ultimate ploughman’s sharing platter which didn’t disappoint AMAZING. Must visit bar if in the area 👍
I've visited once or twice before but only for drinks.
It's a lovely pub with great views across the Bristol channel.
Service is excellent. There was plenty of space available when we came in.
There are various items on the menu, such as steaks, salads, and burgers. I had a prawn marie rose salad. There were plenty of prawns. There was also another dressing on the salad (I thought it odd as there was already the prawn dressing, but it was nice).
They took a little while to bring out food but did explain that there had been a technical issue. It was worth the wait.
Had nearly a week of really mediocre cheap and cheerful food in Brean So on our last day we ventured into weston super mare after a google search of nice places to eat. The Captains Cabin Bar & Restaurant came up so we decided to head for it. So what can I say about the Captains Cabin Bar & Restaurant.......... Simply...... what a find!! Really close to the old edwardian pier, and far enough away from the thromb of the main promenade. The food was the best we'd had all week!! We ordered the 10oz steak ( cooked to perfection) and the belly pork (ditto!) and both were absolutely delicious!! Along with the gorgeous house red we washed it down with. Add to the fact that we ate on a lovely sun terrace overlooking the old Anchor head and harbour. All the staff were really attentive and couldn't do enough for you. Simply put, a gorgeous meal, at a very reasonable price in an off the beaten track location. Would definitely highly recommend.
Went for dinner whilst staying in Weston overnight on a long walk.
Doesn't look much from the outside but ended up being great!
Ordered food from the top bar and advised (with an apology) that we'd have to take our drinks down to the terrace as the bottom bar wasn't open - no problem!
Brilliant cider selection (6 on draft I think, including a couple I'd never seen before!) and dog friendly too.
We found a good spot at the front of the lovely terrace with great views out to sea. Food came (one fish and two different burgers) and it was all really tasty and excellent value for money.
Great staff too and as we were leaving a live band was starting up which unfortunately we couldn't stay to see.
Great find, a real hidden gem!
Nice pub in a great location, staff very friendly. Good pool table and selection of cues which is rare for a pub to have!. Did not try the food this visit so cannot comment on the food. Aim to go back soon due to being a cozy little pub.
Popped in for lunch today, had a lovely pint of cask beer and the most amazing fish and chips. A very substantial meal served promptly and with a smile. Prices very fair. Great views from the terrace. This will be my go-to place whenever in town.
Excellent. Superb food. Chef took our short notice party booking and did a smashing job. Short staffed but managed very well. Will come back when I'm down again.
Had an amazing roast at the Captains Cabin everything hot and plenty of it. The staff did a fantastic job of looking after 17 guests for a birthday dinner. Highly recommend x
