Good basic "does what it says on the tin". Had Sunday roast carvery. Good meat and excellent veg, followed by very nice chocolate fudge cake with generous helping of cream. Quick service and very pleasant staff. Good atmosphere with lots of happy families eating there.

The pub is pleasant with friendly staff. They have a nice big sunny garden with plenty of seating which we will take advantage of in the summer. The beer selection wasn't great (Doombar and 6X) however the beer itself seemed well looked after and was of good quality. Can't vouch for the food as haven't tried it yet, however my first experience there has made me feel welcomed enough to revisit for some food. If there was a wider selection of beer, I would give it 4 stars.

Popped in waiting for Chinese Takeaway to open. Friendly staff, good ales not tried food yet. Will return. Kept 10 yr old son happy with pool table, 2 games for a pound! Proper pub, not an MFI showroom.

Called in to this lovely pub tonight with my family as a spontaneous thing.. lovely welcome and fantastic food! Very helpful as my son is gluten free and the chef was only to pleased to help him, Great place to eat and good prices, thankyou

Lovely carvery. Meat very moist. Dogs allowed in bar so you still carvery in there. Roast pots just like i like them. Emma Weston super mare

We went for the first time yesterday, for a carvery.The staff are very pleasant and helpful , and the carvery was excellent. Will definitely go back again.
