Really great staff, friendly atmosphere. 50p pool table ( rare nowadays ). Cheap prices on beers across the range. Well worth a visit. Only gripe is dogs only allowed outside. Not great when weather is poor.

Good parking, lovely bar staff, and regulars nice choice of drinks and cheat as well. What else can you ask for in a pub especially when it's only 200yrds from my front door.

This is a proper pub! Nice airy decor. A fantastic range of drinks. Priced incredibly reasonably.
They offer pub grub, which is locally sourced and tastes amazing and again is really good value. And not pretentious in any way.
The bar staff can't do enough for you.

Brilliant local boozer- really clean all on one level - pool table - great friendly staff and quick service- there is an entrance at the rear with only a very small step - this should be much better for a wheelchair or those not so steady on their feet -

Very Clean Smart Looking pub, medium sized and has nice outdoor seating area, pool room, several large screen TV`s and good parking area, good curry night, can be lively some evenings.
Good menu and Breakfast is well cooked, reasonable portions and great price. Some great Beer and Cider. Staff are extremely helpful hard working and polite.

Had a couple of pints at the bar and in the meantime the chef Alex brought out some hazelnut chocolates he had been preparing in the kitchen, they were a nice touch and went down a storm with the locals. Then after I ordered my main some fresh bread and a tomato butter came out, that was great too. Finally I ordered a steak, nice simple but often cooked badly, not in this case, very satisfying and prepared to perfection. All in all flying colours, the place looks great (don’t know what it looked like before) I will definitely visit again when I am back down that way.
