Went in midmorning for a cuppa. Lovely clean cafe, very friendly barman. Sitting in the window, we had a fantastic view of Weston. Lost one star on the rating from me because it would be better if there was decaf coffee on offer.

Really really nice chips one of the best if not the best I've had in weston lately.. steak and kidney pie was very good quality and my boy also liked his sausage.. very reasonable price will definitely be using them next time..

We went to 'The Brig', which is the bar down the steps/behind the chip shop. We had planned to go to Claremont Vaults (next door to the chip shop) but that was closed so we sat at The Brig, overlooking the marine lake. It was a lovely view, and a relaxing spot for a quiet drink. There were 4 of us. We only had soft drinks (a pint of coke each, which was just under £10 altogether). Staff were pleasant. Some bits could have been cleaner. Other than that, no complaints and would gladly go again. We liked it better than the Vaults so that was a bonus!

Lovely fish & chip restaurant linked to the RNLI. Super view through big picture windows too. Book in advance to get a table by the window. Very reasonably priced for a sit down meal. Good for kids🥳

Large cod chips and mushy peas in a box and a bench seat with a sea view on rare sunny evening. Absolutely amazing chips were good but the cod was possibly the best I have ever had! and there are some great fish and chip shops in Whitby. must be the best in the south west.
