It's quaint, quiet but comfy. Decor is a little outdated, but the cook is saving up funds to renovate the interior.
Absolutely wonderful family staff, very friendly, jovial, and happy to make menu accommodations for dietary needs and personal preference (within reason to what is available).
Fundamentally, I'd describe "The Fleece" as a typical 'Greasy Spoon'. The food you'll find here will mostly be classical British cuisine, Full English, chips, custard. Very classical and approachable. And most impressive is the cost!
I'd argue that the Fleece is the best place for a meal in our current economic environment, with quality and price that puts all the chains nearby to shame. I cannot recommend it enough!
Beautiful food looked after my kids first with there food
If you love commercial soulless multinational restaurants, where the staff couldn’t care less …. Then this definitely isn’t the place for you! God bless these types of greasy spoon joints, authentic, hearty and unashamedly British, I love it!
Great service.
Good prices and proper cooked food.
Food much better than expected if you judged by the outside appearance.
Definitely reccomend going here if you want a good cooked meal at a reasonable price.
Been here before but only now decided to put up a view when I visited here I had a breakfast was served by a lady with blonde hair and glasses think the lady name is Maria this lady the best customer service there was and the food was good well done
If you visit Weston Super Mare, you HAVE to visit here. The staff are delightfully potty! The restaurant itself is a wee rundown BUT the food was actually quite tasty. The owner and the "waitress" are a hoot - it's a bit like Fawlty Towers in a restaurant setting but without the awfulness of Basil. Memorable!!! Truly memorable!!!
Dont judge the place by its appearance outside! The place is a gem for good breakfast and an amazing service. My son who has autism never judged in this place. They were so friendly we ate in a relax atmosphere which never happen before. We will definitely come back for our breakfast dates. Definitely worth a try 😊
Looks a bit grubby inside had a baked potato with salad and coleslaw was saturated in far to much butter and hardly any salad very disappointing!
Child had mash, chicken and peas and he enjoyed it, lovely lady who served us at table was very nice.
My parents have been coming here for a while as they love the no nonsense breakfasts that are hearty and always served with such a smile! I love the ambience of a family-run cafe and it’s so excellently priced too.
Fantastic breakfast. Great price. Even popped back in later for Apple pie and custard and a coffee.. Great people. Proper home cooked food.. better than all this McDonald's rubbish..
