The food was amazing I had the homemade chicken Kiev with chips and my wife had the pie of the day (chicken,mushroom &bacon) with mash and gravy. Very tasty and reasonably priced! The staff were very welcoming and friendly and a really nice friendly atmosphere. They even had an open fire, dogs welcome. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Excellent food! Reasonable prices. Super friendly staff. Washrooms exceed typical UK standards. Loads of seating inside or enjoy afternoon sunshine in the front. Parking available on their lot out back or on the street. Highly recommend :)

Amazing pub lunch whilst staying close by. We were cheeky and even asked for some flour to make our pizzas that night and they kindly gave us a tub of flour! The food was so nice and service was second to none

Great pub in a stunning area and has a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff.we all had a certain request for how and exactly what we wanted from our food e.g one plain, one with no cheese and relish etc and there were no complaints about it, and chef did it perfectly! Will definately be back when in area again.would recommend this place

Absolutely excellent, had carrot and corriander soup, followed by lovely haddock and chips. We (18) of us went for a 100th birthday. Would definitely go there again.

First time here, the staff were brilliant, especially the lady behind the bar and serving food/ taking orders. She was lovely, didn’t get her name but she’s a brilliant worker, fantastic personality, a real character. Highly recommend the Bay Horse, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. We’ll be back.

arrived to be greated by friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, great to hang out having drink and socially with friends, the Sunday roast chicken, great amount portion and then especially the sticky toffee and apple, rhubarb and raisan crumble with custard and all homemade. definitely coming again
