If you want honestly cooked good food, there is the place to go, with friends and Family but also alone if you fancy some tranquillity in the afternoon and the Ales are very good too !!!

Absolutely delicious pies. Had the GKC which was yummy and also tried the Spoc someone else had, just stunning. Generous portions, and definitely worth getting the cheesy mash. I could bathe in this cheese sauce. One of the best pies I've ever had. Strongly recommend

Was looking for a place for dinner after a day at the beach and decided to try here after seeing it had a good rating on Google and trip advisor. The outside didn't look anything special and it is quite small so we were lucky to get a table without booking but we certainly weren't disappointed. There was a great choice of about 8 different pies and I understand which ones are on offer change regularly. Whilst I can't comment on all the pies, I have to say both the ones we chose were delicious (ccc pie & meltdown pie) and the people behind us had steak and ale and seemed very happy with that too. Both the 'proper' mash and the chips were also excellent and the gravy was incredibly tasty. We each washed our pies down with a lovely pint of lilleys cider each for which there was again a wonderful selection of different flavours to suite each palate (see the menu I have put in photos) however there was a plentiful selection of other beverages if cider is not your thing. There is also a large cocktail menu and although we didn't try these there were a few other people in the bar ordering and they certainly looked good. The biggest surprise however was the dessert, whilst the pies were very filling we fancied a treat and so decided to see the dessert menu and we're told the cheesecake of the day was triple chocolate with an oreo base with double cream and a fresh strawberry. Just hearing about it sounded yummy but when we saw them wow! They also tasted incredible. I can honestly say it was one of the best desserts I have eaten in a long time. We both went home very full and happy after a delicious meal and would definitely recommend this place to friends for food, drinks or both and will look forward to returning ourselves and trying some of the other pies on offer. (ps. Whilst they obviously specialise in pies there is a small menu of other choices too such as chicken wings, cottage pie and macaroni but if you can eat pie I'd definitely recommend that. Apparently they can deal with dietary requirements such as gluten free but request 48hrs notice if you want a gluten free pie to ensure they can have it available and there is more info about this on their website).

Excellent pies! Booking recommended, as I think were lucky to sneak in early evening before the crowds arrived. FANTASTIC pie, and lots of it, with mash, mushy peas and gravy. Friendly staff, and really good atmosphere. Highly recommended of you're in Weymouth any time.

What is not to like about this brilliant find. A variety of at least 10 ciders, I went with the rum cask which was great. Many daily deals from prosecco Friday to some cheeky day deals. The pies on offer are absolutely award winning brilliant. Child friendly and amazing staff!! Go there and enjoy a pie and a pint or a posh prosecco and pie.

Visited here on a wet and windy April evening. Ok, it wasn't busy, but the service was outstanding! The food was amazing too! Doubt anyone could ever complain about portion sizes here as there was so much food on the plate that I couldn't finish my full rack of ribs (with chips, coleslaw and chicken wings). To have quality on the plate too is unusual. There is a wide selection of drinks on offer and all at reasonable prices. The place has been well thought out in its design and done to a very high standard. This is also followed in the toilets, which were clean. Really recommend this place.

I have been to this restaurant twice. Every time I go to Weymouth, this is a must-go place. It's simply the best pie I've ever had. Delicious starters and ciders as well. Try to book a table in advance.

This is a superb pub with an eclectic interior. Tall seats at the bar with fixed individual wooden placements in front of each one. Justifiably on the Casque-mark Ale Trail, but the young staff were oblivious of it - made scanning the certificate a tiresome business. As the name of the place would suggests, very popular with pie appreciators. The kitchen is on the first floor, where there is also additional seating for diners, but this is open selectively.

Absolutely amazing meal. Best we've had in a long time. I had the Lamb Ribs with mint sauce and my husband had the Ribs. All very tasty indeed. Highly recommended and friendly helpful staff.
