Really good fish and chips, had a lovely cooked fresh cod and could share the large between two which they even did for us.
Also had very nice mushy peas.
Would recommend to tak for evening dinner or to sit on the beach and feast.

The cod was super fresh, soft and flaky with beautiful crispy batter. The chips were golden but ever so slightly under cooked. Still a most enjoyable lunch.

Cannot rate atmosphere as resturant closed. Used takeaway.
Staff very friendly and professional, food was excellent, takeaway is served in cardboard box and with a meal wooden disposable knife, fork etc.
There is a bucket and spade offer for children that looks fun and good value.

Really nice bartered sausage and chips, not overly oily and good portions, reasonable priced for the location. Served within 10 mins of ordering. Wish there would be the option to dine in.

Amazing fish and chips and reasonably priced, a real shame you cannot dine in any more!

Customer service was excellent and food was scrummy.
My only complaint is that the jumbo sausage I ordered was too small to be jumbo particularly for £3.00.
However, other than that complaint it was a pleasant visit.

My daughter said the chicken nuggets were the best she's ever eaten! Husband and I had haddock which was absolutely delicious we all had chips which were great too. Managed to keep it all away from the seagulls !!!!

Great food and the girls who served us were lovely however not very happy with how they were spoke too by the cook.. we were served politely and efficiently by them and cannot complain! Food was also lovely to eat on the beach!

22/4/23 Visited King Edwards as we were in town to go and watch our local team, Slough Town take on Weymouth at the Bob Lucas Stadium. Always head for the beach for an away game by the seaside. I had cod and chips with mushy peas. I paid £13.70 which I thought was a bit expensive, but that was before I had tasted it. We sat on seats overlooking the beach. The cod was a generous size and cooked perfectly. The batter was very crispy, and the fish was moist and crumbly. The chips were excellent with a decent portion size and I was delighted to find plenty of extra crispy ones or scraps as I think they are called. The mushy peas tasted differently to what I have had before but were pretty decent. The service was top class and the lady who served us wished us good luck for the football match. (We lost 2-0 😂😬)We will be back next season!!
