Stracey's Fish And Chip Shop

Came down for a holiday last week and popped in for fish and chips on our way home, OMG It was blooming amazing! I wish they were in my home village. I the lad who served me and the young lady in there were brilliant 10/10 for customer service and we had a giggle about me being particular on the curry sauce, the assured me that it wasn’t like you’d find in a Chinese and offered me a taster, the light bite chicken bites were beautiful and my 19month old didn’t struggle with it, Thank you for a beautiful meal! We can’t wait to visit again!!

A cozy looking fish & chip shop that is ideally situated for both Haven caravan holiday parks, as well as for people who live nearby or who are just simply travelling through & want something hot to eat, a good menu including cod, haddock & hake, pies, fishcakes, battered sausages as well as mushy peas, curry sauce & cans of drinks, I had a portion of chips on my 1st visit which were so delicious but such a tiny portion size and on my 2nd a meal of cod & chips with mushy peas to take back to my caravan which was equally tasty, overall a good place to eat.

We were looking for somewhere that was reasonably priced with good reviews and this was the place. We were downtown in Weymouth and the cost of chips there was crazy so we decided to look for a fish and chip place between there and our caravan at Haven. Stracey's was AMAZING!! My kids had the cheeseburger and I tried it, it was DELICIOUS!! I had the chicken burger and my husband had the light bites cod and chips then we all shared 2x large chips which was more than we needed. Everyone was happy with all the food and the price point was very reasonable. If we ever come back to visit I'd go out of my way and get me a cheeseburger next time 🍔 10/10!
