The Smuggler's Inn - Weymouth - Photo album

Enjoyed a lovely family Sunday Roast here last weekend. Fantastic location although access to the 'hidden' beach was closed off. Parking was a bit of a struggle but found a spot further up the road. It's clearly a very popular location. After a starter I ordered a beef roast -£17.95. The other opt
Had a lovely early meal here for 4 & 2 dogs midweek. The quality of food was excellent and the staff super friendly! They even gave our dogs some sausages. A little error with our order was speedily sorted out without issue. Next time we're in the area we will definitely be visiting again!
Stayed here with my partner for 1 night back in January 2022 and it was such a pleasant surprise. I have to be honest, I had lower expectations about staying overnight in a pub, but wow, the room was lovely and super cosy. The staff were very attentive, friendly and accommodating. The food was beau
Wow, the size of those delicious fishcakes and the fish and chips! Superb. Great food, great prices. REALLY friendly staff. Came with my very elderly father and the young staff couldn't be friendlier and more helpful. The last time my father visited was 74 years ago when it was The Lobster Pot!!!
The Smugglers has plenty of 'wow' factors: the views, the location, the food, the atmosphere, the rooms, the service. Stayed here three nights and felt it was great value, with incredibly good service (especially from the landlord's partner who went out of her way to see we were happy and being look
Took my Mum here for Sunday lunch to celebrate her birthday. Absolutely stunning place. The food was great with quick and friendly service, especially given it was a busy Sunday. The historic building is beautifully preserved and hosts a relaxed but interesting atmosphere. We were blessed with sunny
The service and location were fantastic, a great spot to stop after a lovely coastal walk. Unfortunately, the food we had was a little bit of a let down for the price. The fish cakes were quite good but unfortunately the salad served on the side was going off and soggy, and the burger was disappoint
Was very busy but we had booked a table. We were warned it was over an hours wait for food, but it came much quicker than that. The food was good - general pub-type fare. Lovely setting. We are only half an hour away, and can't believe we've never been before! Will definitely go again!
Absolute hidden gem! The menu wasn’t huge but sometimes the sign of a good kitchen is focusing on a slightly smaller selection of meals and do those well. The pub is perched on top of the cliffs and had such character. We managed to get in for an early tea, the place was busy but that didn’t seem to
We had booked for lunch, and the response at the bar to the fact that we had booked was somewhat ignored, and we were made to feel that it was irrelevant. Staff member could have been more courteous. The fish and chips were delicious, but the chip portion was very small and we are not big eaters. Th
This is probably my 5th visit in 2 years this week, as we usually come here when we are on vacation. First class all round every time. Great food, great attentive staff, worth every penny! Never let down on anything. I visited with all of my friends for Sunday lunch in may, & they were all as impres
The weather wasn't good on our visit so everyone was sitting inside. There is a large garden otherwise. It's a popular location for day trippers and hikers. Excellent food and helpful staff. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. On busy days, parking can be a little tricky.
We were camping nearby and stopped off here for a pint and for food. Really lovely location with lots of outdoor seating. The food was great and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Also like a lot of places around Dorset, it is a dog friendly pub 👌🏻
Just had a lovely night at the Smugglers...B&B was a bargain £100. Breakfast was delicious. Fab meal in the evening and all the staff are really helpful and nice. Fab location with stunning walks. 5 Stars.
Just one of my all-time favourite pubs. With access to a beach, the 13th century pub is snuggled out of the wind. Food is great, and it's a big enough place for you to fit in (loads of outdoor tables too). Just remember to duck inside...
Amazing location, perched on the cliff above a secret cove. This pub is at the end of the cliff top walk from Weymouth and was a real find. On my recent visit we only stopped for drinks. Previously we ate. I had the vegan burger which was very good. The pub seems to be busy every time we visit. The
